    Hi

    You will love this forum!!
  2. Your pictures are beautiful! I love that you used horses as part of your TTD......very romantic!
  3. Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes! We had a really good time at the ceremony. We only had both of our parents and one other couple present during the ceremony. We wanted to keep it small and private. We had the ceremony video taped........we watched it last night! I'm so glad we taped it as it will be nice to have those memories. My little sundress is from Macy's. It's something I will probably wear again in Mexico. That was so hard to find this time of year! Thank again! You girls are so sweet!
  4. My new hubby and I were married this past Friday, August 29th! We had a very small ceremony in the mountains of Montana........it was beautiful! Now I feel like I can sit back and relax for our destination wedding this December in Mexico! Our marriage license! Right before the ceremony........my dad and I got to spend some alone time together before the wedding......it was really nice! David waiting for me! His eyes were all teary when I got to him.......so cute! Yea! We're married! Outside of our hotel room......right on the river....it was awesome!
  5. I'm not sure if Elizabeth Medina posted these pics of a wedding at EDR yet. I found them on her blog.........I think it was a pretty recent wedding. This couple was married at the Presidential Gazebo and had their reception at Tucanes. I know how we all LOVE pictures......so here you go. 6. That's really cool! He's a really genuine guy!
  7. We are having our legal ceremony next Friday, August 29th! Our DW is December 11th. So like everyone else has said, it doesn't really matter! Whatever you choose to do will be just fine.
  8. Thanks for sharing all the pics! It gave me a better idea of what EDR really looks like. Again, you looked beautiful!
  9. My FI and I will be getting married leagally here in the states before we go to Mexico in December as well. This has been a really hard decision for us to make too. We have gone back and forth about it a million times it seems. But now we have set the date for August 29th! We will be doing a small ceremony in the mountains of Montana near my home town with my parents and his parents. An amazing pastor whom I have know for many years will be doing the ceremony for us. Our biggest hang up was that we didn't want our legal day to just be cut and dry. We are both Christians and felt that it was very important for us to have God be part of the most important commitment we will ever be making. I am going to wear a cute white sundress with white flip flops and David will wear his tan linen pants and a white linen shirt. I'll probably go get my hair done for fun too! I think it will work out just fine! I like that Maura said it took so much stress off of her once the legal part was done. I'm hoping to same for me too!
  10. Very beautiful Dana! Your wedding events are the exact same that mine will be this December.......how exciting! Everything looked great!
  11. I'm having a December wedding at El Dorado Royale! Congrats and happy planning!
  12. Could someone tell me where Gazebo 55 is located on the EDR map? I'm getting ready to prepare my "getting ready for Mexico" brochure with a map of EDR for all our wedding events. Thanks girls!
  13. Absolutely amazing! You guys are like two little wedding models! Congrats!
  14. Thanks for the post Shannon! We are still on the fence whether we should do the legal thing here or in Mexico. I'm so confused!
  15. Thank you for the amazing review of EDR! Your pictures were so much fun to look at! I can't wait to see your pro pics!
