Oh, there's drinking on the day trip! That is how I did my site visit, and they were bringing us tequila sunrises and stuff the moment we got on the boat!
  2. I can do a weekend besides the 24th too. My bff gets married that weekend!
  3. I have one, but when I use it on my legs, it hurts like a *&^%$##&*%$!!! I guess it depends on the person.

Dear Maura's co-worker...You better look out because I AM in Chicago, and we don't mess around in this hood! And, you're situation is hitting way to close to home, so maybe channeling my rage toward your tyrant can help take my mind off of mine. oh yeah..
  5. Can anyone post the information they put in their save the dates? I feel like there is so much to tell people, and I feel a little overwhelmed.

The way I look at it is that while I could definitely get into a little better shape before doing it, FI asked me to marry him looking this way. I guess he likes the way I look! Glad I have a little while before the wedding anyway!
  7. I used to be die hard for Kodak gallery, and have tons of albums, but suddenly uploading has become very difficult. I now have to use Picasa to do the full upload of an album. It sucks. Snapfish is good but one nice thing that I know Walgreens can do, but not sure about the others, is that people can download the hi res image too. So if they want the e-file instead of a print, they dont have to just copy the preview image. It's kind of cool.
  8. Do you mean you can't see other's profiles? That was disabled a while back. I dont think any amount of point will let you view member profiles.

I downloaded this song a while back after hearing it on a commercial, but my version is Eddie Montana!?! I think its the same one, but maybe not. Try that one too. Its so pretty! Our song is "the luckiest" by ben folds, wasnt sure it that would be a good wedding dance, but if not, I will probably do over the rainbow.

  12. Rachel, I love that idea! Our courthouse wedding will be in front of his brother and sister in law because their daughters want to be there and wont be at the DW. I am like you, I dont want it meaningful because I want my DW to be my real wedding!
  13. OMG!!!!!!!! Shampoo and Conditioner does not turn your hair orange. I bet she is saying that the waxes from cheap shampoo prevent the hair from lifting all the way. It is true that brown goes to orange first. But a good stylist will notice wax buildup and put a clarifying shampoo on your hair. Now we are so past that because you dont want further damage. You are NOT being a bridezilla. You are being a pissed off girl with every right to be. And I cant believe how they are treating you!!! If you want to lighten your hair, some lifting of the color is involved, but to leave you looking orange and splotchy I LOVE THE IDEA OF YOU GOING THERE TO HANG OUT FOR THE DAY. Clear your calendar and bring some coffee!

At least at this point, the damage will be minimal with anything done going forward. The color is stripped, the next steps should be color deposit with low volume peroxides. Okay I am off my tangent. I hope this gets fixed up!
  15. Another suggestion: (And let me preface this with the fact that I am not a hairdresser, but I used to work at Sally Beauty and they made us get all sorts of certifications) If she can't see you for a while, or refuses to fix it or whatever, find a semi permanent at a Beauty Supply store. Read the package, some will last 8 washings, other SAY 8 weeks. Find a brown that looks about how dark you want to go, but make sure the base color listed is ash, or green, or blue. It wont turn your hair those colors, it will just counteract the red/orange. The hair swatch sample won't look the way it will look on your head. Those swatches are done on white hair, I believe. Again, dont do permanent, because then you are just worsening the problem. You could even check with a hairdresser if this is a good interim solution. Again, if she will fix it, take her up on it, but if you are really in a pinch. This should help. Any hairdressers out there please feel free to comment on whether this is sound advice. I believe it is and have done it on myself, but another vote of confidence would probably be wise before pursuing!!!
  16. I had only seen some of those, because I only started going thru the rest of the site (besides the Puerto Vallarta stuff) recently. You funny lady Rachel!

Bouchon is another option, at the Venetian.
  18. I can't seem to make a picture suddenly on my pc. Hmmm. Here is mine. ring.ppt
  19. Here is another link on their site with more info, as well as a ppt you can save that shows how to do each style. Victoria's Secret - 7-in-1 curvy jersey dress BM Dress.ppt
  20. Rachel is correct. We asked Nicole about getting to LC any other way, and while it exists, it isnt hassle free.
  21. Oh, I am jealous of everyone! I have always wanted to go to Cuba, but being from the US, it's not been a real option, obviously. I would love to hear more about your weddings in Cuba! BTW- Blink, I went to Scotland and England over Christmas and NYE, and loved every single thing about Scotland. I kind of wanted to get married there, but we had agreed on a beach wedding. Where are you from?
  22. You guys are the best, this helps so much! I love that I can ask a question and have a bunch of answers within a short time! This forum is the greatest! Thanks again ladies!
