It gets a little cheaper if you have one stop flight. The prices are kinda high to me. I am hoping they go down a little or Air jamaica has a sale. If I hear anything about Jetblue I will definitely let you ladies know.

If you want me to get any pictures or things like that, let me know! & yes, if you could send me the pricing info that you have, that would be great! Thanks! Kristin Hi Kristin, if you PM me your email address, I can forward all the documents I got from the resort.

I had my mind set on Sandals and when we arrived we were so disgusted. So glad we took the trip to look. We also looked at Moon Dance Villas, Sandals and Coyaba. We fell in love with Coyaba as soon as we arrived. Did JoAnna from Coyaba send you the link to the Coyaba Bride page? If you are interested here is my personal wedding webpage to view: www.mikedana2009.weddingwindow.com Enter your email address and the password is Lovebirds. If you need more info please let me know I'd be happy to help you out. Thanks Dana! Yeah Joanne sent me the link to the site. I got even more excited when I saw it! My guests are just now starting to make reservations, so I won't be able to really get started yet, but I can't wait!
  5. Hi Dana, I am getting married at Coyaba also May 23, 2009! I thought I was the only one. Congratulations!!
  6. My sister told me she heard JetBlue was going to start offering flights to JA starting spring '09. She doesn't remember where she heard this from. Has anyone heard anything about this? Currently the only flights available for my guests are AA and Air Jamaica, it would be great if there was another option.
  7. Hi DivaDivine I wish I could give you some good advice, but I am in the same predicament. I have no clue what I am going to do with my hair! My hair is natural so I was thinking of getting it pressed straight when I got there, but as we all know as soon as any humidity or water touches it it's over! I really didn't want to get braids or a weave, but it looks like I may have to go this route. I don't think I could avoid the water if I wanted to. I am a caribbean girl at heart, and to not go in the water is unheard of for me. Ugh! If I find any alternatives or nice styles I will be sure to post them.
  8. OH man! I am really sorry to hear that. It's great that Sandals gave you a refund. Are you going to get married there, or have your plans changed?
  9. Congratulations! It's really a great feeling to get the biggest decisions checked off.
  10. That is soo pretty and it looks great on you. I love the little lace cap sleeve. Congratulations!
  11. That sounds sooo nice! I am kinda slacking in that department. I have yet to book anything. You will have tons of fun.

Hi, Well after much discussion we have decided on Coyaba, althought SATP was our second choice. The tie breaker was that Negril was so far from Mobay airport and Coyaba was closer. I didn't want to bother with the extra travel by car. Another bride on the forum had send me the info I needed for SATP so I didn't need to call them. Like someone else mentioned, I think it's better to call them, you will get a quicker response. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck!
  13. Yeah same here, there is like zero info on the forum for this resort which is strange because I hear such good things about it. The resort looked great in the pics I have seen and it got some pretty good reviews from other brides I found on trip advisor. There is one draw back, and that is they are very pricey if you pick the all inclusive package, but I loved it so much I am hoping it won't be too much of a problem for the guests. The resort is very small 50 rooms in total. It's def not like the larger all inclusive resorts in JA. They have one wedding a day, which is another reason why I chose them. Everyone from Coyaba has been really nice and prompt with getting back to me. If you need any pricing info I can send it to you, just PM me. Trip advisor is a great resource here is the link: Coyaba Beach Resort (Montego Bay, Jamaica) - Resort Reviews - TripAdvisor Also check out these pics of a wedding that took place there: Samad & Summaya Good luck with your search!!
  14. Congratulations! Everything looked nice and you look great. I love your pictures.
  15. Here are a few I have collected along the way. I hope these give you some ideas.
  16. I like the box, very cool. I will have to check out bath and body now. Good idea!
