Here is a link to some of our pictures on our photographers blog. Let me know if you have any questions! If you read Weddingbee, I'm Miss Quiche & will be starting my recaps soon! Talk to you ladies soon. Dana I am here I am back! I actually came back 2 weeks ago. I have been gone for a month so just trying to aclimate post wedding. Everything went great! Gabi and Alex are the best! The only snafu was that it rained, so I didn't get to use the beautiful wedding lawn, and ladies that lawn area is gorgeous. We had to set up inside, but I didn't mind, they did a wonderful job. Don't worry about a thing, they take care of everything! I just met with them for about an hour the first day and after that I was on the beach daily. No worries The ceremony was perfect! The minister was very nice and very amusing. He was great. I wish I had videotaped it. We had over 40 people at the resort and 10 offsite guests. Everyone had a blast, and I can't praise Coyaba enough for the service and the atmosphere was perfect! We are trying to go back next year I hired Sungold photos for the wedding and they were amazing. Paula and Damion were awesome to work with and I can't wait to see the pics! I have a few pictures my cousin took with my camera. Sorry I don't have many and none from the reception I will post the pro shots once I get them. If you have any questions, let me know I will be happy to answer them. Good Luck Dana! You will have a great time!
  3. Hmmm yeah I second the golf club bag. Well you can try putting the base in your luggage and the pole in a garment bag if you are bringing one on board the plane. You may have to find out in advance if you can bring them on board.
  4. Hi ladies, I have 3 more days and I will be in JA!!!! I can't wait! I have attached my planning link so if you ladies have any questions just let me know. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t42685

I am going to get it next year for our anniversary instead.

  10. OOT Bags Ok I didn't get a ton for these, since I have limited bag space. I kept the bags pretty simple. Each guest will get a beach towel (on sale at sears 50% off!!) a 4oz rum cake (purchased in Jamaica), welcome booklet, and little package with bandaids, sanitizing wipes, gum, tissue, shout wipe, aspirin, advil, antacid, and safety pins. Oops! forgot to post jewelry Phew! well that's it! I can't wait to get to JA and relax with my friends and family!

My dress is similar and actually I was looking for a different pair of shoes. Did you purchase your shoes recently? I really like them Hi, Well I got the ceremony shoes on blue fly, back in January. I don't think they have them anymore, but check, their stock rotates. I am bringing it all to JA! ugh, my sister and mom are taking some things and so far I only have 4 bags not too bad considering. If I have to pay the overweight fee for 2 i dont mind. I have been weighing them to make sure I am all good. I got all the flowers (minus monogram) from Angels accents. She created all the bouquets, bouts and corsages and I just purchased the orchids and amarillyas from them. They are great to work with, no problems. The freeze dried petals i got from flyboy naturals. I will be bringing all flower items with me on the plane. If they say anything about them I will say they are fake like all the other flowers

I have been rushing around to get last minute items done, but finally some relaxation and I can share with everyone everything we have been working on. I will have to say that this board has been my guiding light and without all of the ladies on here I don't know how I could have done anything. The creativity here is amazing! Thanks for sharing all of your ideas and giving me some inspiration as well. I am probably missing a few pics of somehing or other, but hey a sister is dead tired. Enjoy....... 19. On average I spent about $15 per bag including the bag. I did go over budget on this, but like someone said in a previous post my guests have traveled far to come to the wedding (even from England) and we wanted to show our thanks. I think it's up to you how much you want to spend and really how much you can actually fit in your luggage
  20. My friend got married in Mexico in December and she got bumped up to first class. She flew mexicana airlines. She told them she had her dress and they put her in first class, free of charge. I am not sure how often they do this. It sure would be nice if I can get that on air jamaica, but I'm not holding my breath.
  21. Love it! I actually tried that on but alas no more in my size, that's how great it is. Great choice!

I have about 53 people attendng. I have been having reservation issues, becuase people are booking last minute (like this past weeknd!) and they have been very accomodating. They totally understand and have been working with me on it. We decided on a 10 day cruise, we are soooo excited! We are both a little tired of planning and want to enjoy some time together.
  23. Congratulations! My wedding is 2 weeks away and I am both excited and nervous, but Coyaba has a great team of people there. I decided to go the "bring your own centerpeices" route. The centerpiece prices were a little too much for me. I am doing a combo rocks, candles, coral and sand centerpiece. I know it sounds like alot, but I really don't have to pack too much. I rented the vases from the florist and I am bringing everything else.

Everyone I have dealt with at Coyaba have been wonderful.
