  1. You did a great job of making an impersonal legal ceremony (i.e. the reading of the marital code) into a beautifully romantic and complete one! I hope you don't mind if I steal some of your ideas... :big hug:
  2. Thanks! I hope my guests enjoy them as much as everyone here has!
  3. (this is my first time using Multi-quote, if it does not work , I apologize. JoLo98 - There are no insulation on these cups, they are simple plastic, which also makes the super light to transport, which is probably why Tlseege was able to pack them so well in her suitcase. However these have no lid, unlike hers Tlseege - I plan on doing exactly what you did with those cups that I can distribute, I will pack them in my suitcase, minus putting the undies in them, since other people will be drinking in these cups...lol Tcram: Isn't the vendor fantastic!! They now doeorders of 50 by themselves because so many people requested it
  4. Most of us are leaving from the same airport, so I will be distributing them there prior to take off. either that or I will pawn them off into a Groomsman, Usher's or my Dad's luggage since they pack SO much less than the women.
  5. Here you are ladies!!! These JUST came in fresh today!! I purchased them from Factory-21 on Ebay. The price was UBER reasonable!!! They make thses cups (called steins), mugs, shot glasses, etc. eBay Store - Factory 21 Promotional Items: Shot Glasses, Steins, Pub Glasses The vendor was great to deal with, quick response time via email and even re-designed our monogram as best as they could, since we could not figure out what font it was. The imprint is dark purple on both sides. One side has our Monogram, the other has "Una Cerveza, por favour". Let me know what you think!!
  6. My Dermatologist suggested I use Botox to stop the excess sweating. She said it can be used anywhere, provided it is given properly. The medical spas in the area use it as much for that as for wrinkles.
  7. Thank you for all your wonderful comments!! I got the backgrounds (maps, pictures) on the boarding pass by uploading a picture. I would then make it more transparents by either whitewashing it or increasing the brightness. I found the map on Google images (don't be afraid of the brightly colored maps, because you can make it Black and White with a click of a mouse ) . Most of the picture were either downloaded from Microsoft Office online or google images.
  8. The white cardstock was bought at staples, a pack of 250 for 15$ - it is the 120lbs cardsotck - diamond white The Green cardstock is from paper-papers.com, it is Stardream Metallic and the color is Fairway. Cost 72$CAD for 100, arrived in Canada fast and duty free I have attached the templates for the ticket jackets. I cannot attched the template for the boarding passes, it is too large, but if you interested PM me. Note: Ils sont aussi disponible en français, si vous êtes interessé, veuillez communiquer avec moi directement master_ticket_jacket.ppt
  9. Ok, so after all this drama: -getting our computer stolen (and all my wedding planning), - getting used to a new computer and re-designing our boarding passes - problems with the design and not to mention translation (half of my family is french) -the template not aligning properly -damn printer - finally going insane and decided found an awesome local printer (that charge 14cents less than staples per page! ) - Cutting, scoring everything - Finally putting all 100 hand made invitations together... Here they are!! (notice the ribbon, we were going to do eyelets for them all, but decided hammering 100 invites would not please our neighbours...) BTW best place to get ribbon is the fabric store!! 6 $ for 18 yards! (about 17 meters) ...con'd
  10. Here is mine!! I was a 2 dress bride.... I purchased a Maggie Sottero (style # SD300 SD3008 - by Maggie Sottero at a sample sale and fell out of love with it a few months later. I tried on this Mori Lee1066 and never looked back!!
  11. I have a June 30th wedding. Leaving on June 28, so if any one wants to pass one up this way in mid June, that would be fantastic!
  12. Well I put baby powder in my sneakers, sock and undies when I go to the gym, it helps alot. As for your wedding dress, I would just want to make sure it does not stain!
  13. SO MANY OF US DO THIS!! I fell victon do it too!! I bought a dress, quite early thought I loved it. But I loved the experience of dress shopping and got caught up in the emotions of everyone else.... So then I ended up trying on a dress when my BM went shopping and then I KNEW I found MY DRESS. Within a week I had sold the 1st one (for purchased price) and ordered MY DRESS!!! I cannot wait to put it on when it gets here on April 1st!!
  14. OMG!! That is unreal and incredibly unfair. I hope you can take this time and perhaps start formulating plan A and plan B (maybe even plan C). Did he receive a written confirmation that his committement was completed? Because that could help in this. Stay strong together and you can get through anything.
  15. I know it is unbelievable!!! And the comments on the article page itself are interesting...
  16. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!! Baby-faced Alfie, who is 13 but looks more like eight, became a father four days ago when his girlfriend Chantelle Steadman gave birth to 7lb 3oz Maisie Roxanne. Dad at 13 | Boy Alfie Patten, 13, becomes father of baby girl Maisie with girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, 15 | The Sun |News

The whole reason for doing a Destination wedding was so that I would have minimal planning/headache/stress. Well now it is time for me to bitch & complain.  We are doing our invitations by hand. All 100 double sided Boarding passes are being designed, copied, cut, scored, glued, tied and packaged by me. I love my fiancé, but he is not a lot of help on this one, since he is not very good with designing and on top of that he is not that crafty. So now it is all on me. I have girlfriends and sorority sisters that have offered to help, making, as one has said “a sweat-shop collection line of sisters and pledges in my living room†just so I can get it done faster; bless their hearts. I have refused their offer as I am moderate perfectionist, meaning: if I mess something up, its ok; if they mess it up, it is not. So for now I complain, I bitch, I whine (and drink some wine) while I try to get these done in time to mail them out next week. So if you receive an invitation that is less than perfect, spare me the complaints and appreciate its uniqueness. And know that it was put together with love. The Bride, Out.
