  1. as its already been pointed out, there are quite a few threads on this issue already. In my opinion its a PERSONAL choice. If you're too afraid to go and have concerns then don't go...that simple. I don't think anyone on this forum can (A)make mexico any safer for you, and (B)answer this question on your behalf.
  2. I honestly never felt like this before. People respond to threads that apply to them, if I read something and have nothing to add, then I don't say anything at all. I've been on the forum for a while now and I never really felt like I was being ignored. If people don't respond to my thread then so what? I mean the purpose of my threads are to inform others of what I am doing or what I think is a good find because it might help someone else. If no one answers then maybe no one needs my input lol I don't take it personally because I'm not posting for the sake of getting responses. Also like some of the other people have said, some threads are redundant and have been started and asked a million times before.
  3. You realize this is the CABO forum and not Puerto Vallarta right? so I'm not sure the girls on here can help you.
  4. We stayed outside and partied until 10:30pm, at which point we had to switch off the music. By that point most people were exhausted and went to sleep, while a few of the younger people, including ourselves, went to the bar/lounge and stayed there until 2am.
  5. Dreams doesn't charge for outside vendors. They only request that your vendors sign up with them as perferred vendors.
  6. It was worth it to me, and I wouldn't change it for anything. Actually our friends loved it and our wedding so much that they got married there this spring, so my husband and I got to go back, yey! We're planning on going back every other year for our anniversary. So to us it was worth it, but like others mentioned its a personal choice in the end. I would read reviews on the different hotels/resorts in cabo and what other bride's experiences were like.
  7. Hi and congrats! I got married at Dreams last year and loved it. David wasn't there when we were married, and I had Yesica as my coordinator. We didn't leave the resort for dinner so I'm not help there. And as for OOT bags, we didn't do those either. Goodluck with everything
  8. I agree with Juan. I think it takes something special to be an event photographer. Its definitely worth the money in the end. I would never entrust my wedding to be photographed by anyone other than a professional.
  9. I love accupuncture. I've been slacking the last month and a half but I need to get back to it. If nothing else it helps to relax you and that's always positive for baby-making
  10. great review! very detailed. Where are the pics though?!?
  11. everything looks amazing!!! Have an amazing wedding and can't wait to read the review when you get back Congrats!
  12. Congratulations!!!! I'm so gad you had an amazing wedding where are the pics?
  13. Sometimes the WCs can be a bit slow in responding because they have alot to deal with on a daily basis. I've been to Dreams twice now, once for my own wedding and another time for my friend, and I can tell you that the WCs are CONSTANTLY running around dealing with setups, phonecalls, vendors, questions, etc... They literally have a wedding almost every day of the week, sometimes 2 a day, so they are busy, and EVERY bride wants 100% of their attention. Just be patient and if you absolutely need to ask something and get an answer to on something urgent, then pick up the phone and call them...its the easiest, fastest and clearest way to communicate with the WCs. This forum is great, Tammy (host of this forum) is an expert on Dreams weddings and she has alot of contacts there so I encourage you to contact her.
