  1. Also too in regards to Kelly taking a bit long to respond.... Remember she is now the only coordinator (as far as I am aware they did not yet hire another to replace Nicole) and on average I think they are doing at least 3-4 weddings per week so of course taking care of those brides who are just days away is the most important. If you are inquiring about a 2011 date or a date that is months away, yes it probably will take a bit longer to get a response. Just be patient, dont worry as your wedding gets closer you will have Kelly's full attention!

I actually didn't even want to mess with table assignments but Nicole suggested that I come up with something so it would be easier for the guests. here is a picture of where the seating cards were layed out. this is right on top of the stairs down to the ceremony site and by the tables. so when guests come up from the ceremony they could pick up their name and find their table. I just quick printed these cards, one side had their name and the other "table 1" (or whatever table they were at) and then each table had a number. I used the colored palm trees as another way to distguish the tables but that wasn't really necessary

Let us know how you do in your search!!! On another note- love the picture posted above. How about a wedding with 50 of your closest former Bachelor and Bachelorette cast mates? LOL I hope they had a real wedding after........... haha this was my thought too! I mean it wasn't just sprinkling...it was a downpour and even before that it was so windy and the guests looked like they were freezing! I would not have wanted my guests to be so uncomfortable watching the ceremony! and yes her hair and jewelry were too much.... I did like the dress though! but for $45k?! mmmm no thanks, it is not that pretty!
  5. ohhh very pretty! I like the idea of putting the lace as a keyhole back with cap sleeves. so are you going to cut the entire train off?

  12. Ok I started this program yesterday and I am excited! I am so not a runner either but my goal is to be able to run 3 10 min miles without stopping (I know that is a pretty slow pace for a true runner, but I am NOT one ) In college I was in the best shape of my life when I could this (3 miles in 30 mins) now I can't run 5 mins without getting totally winded. so I am hoping this will help Day 1, so far so good. I thought it would be easier than it was but I was def sweating at the end! I will do day 2 tomorrow!

Angeles worked out a one night rate for us to stay there last night too so we didnt have to come all the way down again from up north where we are spending the week. She had champagne waiting in our room and a special table at Mar Intimo with flower petals and a candle. It was so nice! We saw Dream PV and didnt like it as well and agree it is a lot further and more difficult to get to the marina. VP is perfect in that respect too: The RIU screwed up my meeting time with them so we didn{t see it and that is fine...looked too big anyways. I think we are def going to book VP if we can get a decent rate. She said if we have around 20 rooms booked we get free private functions as well so we can have a great welcome dinner there. Andi...where did you have your welcome dinner So happy we did the LC site visit and toured the hotels...couldnt be happier with the decisions we made. Cant find the apostrophe or question mark on this Mexican keyboard...sorry for the typing!! glad you are having a good time!!!!! bring back pics! so we had our welcome dinner on the triton pool terrace...basically right next to and in between the pool and the pool bar. here is a pic of the set up (as viewed from our room) we also had an AMAZING sunset where our photogs were able to take great pics of everyone too. we didn't have enough rooms booked to get the free private event but even still it was pretty reasonably priced I thought. one thing that sorta sucked was that we had 6 guests who came to the welcome dinner but were not staying at VP. we had a guest pass for those guests but VP security watched them like a hawk and wouldn't let them in the door until 6:00 on the dot. not a big deal, just FYI. let me know if you have more questions about VP and I can try to help! IMO you could easily skimp on some of the extra flowers or centerpieces. LC is beautiful as is and doesn't really need a lot of decoration. Other than my bouquet and the table arrangement that our package came with we didn't add anything except for a bag of rose petals for the aisles.

Also I would invite EVERYONE to your DW... if they want to spend the money, let them come. then that way they can never come back to you and nag that they weren't even invited! besides, you might be surprised on how many people actually make the trip. It is your day and you should do what you guys want!

  18. I don't know if it is the DJ that plays on the way back but they do play music on the boat ride back. Yes that extra hour could get a bit pricey that's for sure....looking back now I am glad we did do it though because even with the extra hour I didn't want it all to end!

I added on the extra hour to the reception. can you do that or does your timeline above reflect the extra hour already? We went back and forth on adding that extra hour because we didn't want our grandparents or the little kids to be too tired getting back so late. but in the end it was worth it! Oh and welcome Heidi! woo hoo so many LC weddings coming up...that means lots of pictures!!!!!!

BUT here are some cenote examples that i just LOVE. I had my swimsuit on underneath my dress and just went into the pool bathroom and took the dress off and put it in the trash bag to get it up to our room without leaving a trail of water behind us. once i got to our room i rinsed it out in the shower and then just left it hanging in the shower to dry. it did take a day or two to fully dry out. but you could maybe just put it in a trash bag until you get to the resort you are moving to and then rinse it out and such there?

Mostly because it was hemmed for me wearing 4-inch heels, and after we jumped in the ocean we rolled around on the beach & I was laying in the driveway in front of a speed bump sign. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Totally did the same thing and LOVED IT! I can't imagine not using my real dress, and like you Aimee what else was I going to do with it?! Mine did not get so trashed though, it came out actually cleaner than it was after the reception! mmm and I hate to admit this but I still haven't taken it to the dry cleaners...yes almost a year later! I just have been too afraid that they will destroy it, haha, kind of ironic I think that right? It is fine though, just in the garmet bag in the closet...maybe I should make it my goal to actually get it dry cleaned before my 1 year anniv! Now though when I look at wedding and TTD pics I get overly excited when I see that a bride used her actual dress for her TTD! It is weird I know, but in my opinion if you are going to do a TTD you might as well use your real dress! BTW Aimee, I loved your photos!

Next week cannot come fast enough!! woo hoo! have fun! When you go over to Caletas are you leaving from PV or Nuevo? either way when you are visiting the Vallarta palace have your taxi driver point out the vallarta adventures office in Nuevo (that is where your wedding group will leave from if you are staying in Nuevo). In my opinion that is much easier to get to and find than the one in PV and it is literally right down the street from the Vallarta Palace. (not really walking distance but pretty close). Our group stayed at the Vallarta Palace and we did our welcome dinner there as well! It was nice! Can't wait to hear how your trip goes! Take pics!
