  1. So I went crazy overboard on the number of invites that I purchased for a recent bachelorette party that I threw. I have 24 of the below invites left including envelopes. They are pretty large, 5.75" x 8.75" and on heavy card stock. Selling for $20 for all of them plus shipping, to US residents only. I would prefer to sell all 24 to one person and do not want to split up. These are really cute invites! Let me know if you have any questions and please PM me if interested
  2. We had one too, I couldn't tell you the price though because videography came as part of the package we won through KLK Photography/Blue Sky Videos. I think before your wedding a lot of brides debate on this topic, I know that I did. The day goes so fast that you miss some of the details so it is good to have it on video to remember those. Especiall the ceremony...I was in my own little world with my hubby up at the altar so it was good to go back and watch the ceremony again.
  3. totally agree! I can't stand how she keeps talking about "her man"...soooooo annoying. she is just annoying period. I can barely stand to listen to her talk at all, she makes my skin crawl! yes, it is that bad for me
  4. really?! how annoying. Remember this is your wedding and try not to listen to what everyone else is saying. It is not up to your guests where you should get married. Sure Cancun is a "party" town, but really only if you choose to seek that out. ,something tells me that the guests of the Royal are not your average "spring breaker" type of people. Don't second guess yourself, stick to your guns on this. You guys chose the location for a reason, try to remember those reasons and don't listen to others. If it is too "trashy" for them, well then maybe they shouldn't attend!
  5. Oh man I was so mad when Rachel won hoh! I cannot stand her or her man!
  6. ha! after all the drinking they will be craving the cake! I am glad we had a cake for sure but yeah people were more into the tequila tasting table than the cake! haha
  7. WHOA! great job on the details! It looks like you two had a perfect wedding! If my husband would have had to do it all, I am not sure anything would have turned out!
  8. check out the Las Caletas thread... that is my suggestion anyway http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/51931/las-caletas-couples-post-here-all-lc-brides-please-read-1st-post-red-text there are a couple of cruise brides coming up soon. Las Caletas is an excursion that your cruise probably offers. Las Caletas is a private beach about a 45 min boat ride from the PV marina. I know a wedding could be done when you are there and like I said there are a couple of other cruise Las Caletas brides around here who could probably give you more info...good luck!
  9. AAAAAGH! Congrats! I had no idea Kristi had gone back to do another LC wedding! your pics are AMAZING and your photog did a GREAT job! (but I might be a bit biased on that! ) Thank you for sharing! PS - don't forget to share this link with Ann and she can put it at the beginning of this thread!
  10. I just wanted to point out that requesting attachments via email is against the forum rules. http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/48545/update-1-18-2010-downloading-attachments
  11. oh yay! it is flower day, I want to play!!! here is mine! and the centerpiece thingy that was included in our package too: hubby's bout was just a green cybidium (sp?) orchid, I don't have a good pic of that here at work!
  12. ha! my married friends and I have talked about having a wine night and all wearing our dresses! we haven't done it yet but I would be totally up for it! any chance to throw that thing on again, I will take it!
  13. ewww yes I am so over this season because it is IRRITATING! Quote: Originally Posted by carly Yeah, I'm annoyed. And plus I really can't stand him. Not one thing about him. But Lauren is AMAZING! I've liked her since the beginning, then she kinda faded a little bit, but the past few weeks, she can't do any wrong! I hope she wins it for the girls! And while I love Jose and would love to continue watching him grow, I just think he's over his head at this point. I hope that either Lauren or Robert wins it. ooooh couldn't agree with you more! you took the words right out of my mouth! Quote: Originally Posted by *Rachel* Oh we were soooo pissed last night. THat decision last night was an insult to all those who have gone home with legit injuries and to all the dancers that have worked their asses off week after week. I'm sure they would ALL enjoy a week break Billy! You can tell that no one was happy. I found the cast interaction after the announcement interesting. They kind of ignored Billy and he kept trying to jump in and get involved in all their excitement but you could see they were totally snubbing him- except Lauren because she's awesome. I have to admit I really like Kent too. But I want Lauren to win! pansy ass! I just realllllllly dislike him...he is a good dancer but not GREAT. He is very cocky IMO and just should have been sent home a long time ago!

Here is what she said: Most of my clients choose to see the rhythms of the Night show after dinner - and it is included in the wedding package – this would be the way to see the fire dancers and incorporate them into the wedding since they perform in the show. There is no other way to add them on….. hmm maybe that is because you have the Paradise package? I went with the premier package and we did not have ROTN tickets included on the wedding night and we did add on the fire dancers. There was a show that night too, they just have the guys quick run over and dance separate from the show. Chicago - sorry I am no help on the flowers....I did not have a bridal party so we didn't need to order any more.

  16. Nessa, the only thing to think about if your entire group goes over for the day (10+ people you said?), is that the only shower that I know of is in the bridal casita, so I am not sure if there would be time for everyone to get ready in there? KWIM? that might be a logistic thing to think about too
  17. WOW, I had so much on this thread I wanted to MQ and comment on...a lot happened since I commented on the first couple of pages! Everything I wanted to say has already been said, so I won't bore you guys with anything additional. 18. yes, it goes fast! I told Nicole at one point that I didn't want to see her for the rest of the night because I knew she would be telling me to board the boat the next time I saw her! I didn't want to board the boat! Nessa you are getting the barefoot package is that right? On that package your group will not have their own/private boat to and from LC. Meaning that I think you leave when the Rhythms of the Night group does because you ride back with them. If you opt for a package where your group has your own boat, you would stay an additional 30-60 mins? (I think that is about right, maybe I am a bit off on that?) Then if you have the package with private boat transportation you could add an additional hour onto your reception....the fee is based I think per person? with the additional hour you wouldn't leave LC til around 10:30 or 11...yes that sounds about right because our group didn't get back to the hotel until midnight!

I don't really see it as that. I saw our wedding as the day we exchanged vows and the rest of our trip as a time to celebrate and enjoy the time with all our loved one in one awesome vacation- it was our biggest vacation for TWO years, so it did dictate how we vacationed too. At times we all went off and did our own thing too and I know my DH and I snuck off to have some alone time too. I guess I don't see the big deal in someone having a private moment and getting engaged during the trip- of course, not on THE wedding because yes, that's not the best of ideas. I'd also be willing to bet that so many that have been waiting for a ring wouldn't think it's "tacky" for it to occur on a beautiful vacation that's focus is on the celebration of love. Would it be better if he just decided to skip the wedding and use that money on a different vacation so he CAN propose? I mean really- these people have a life to live too! well said Rachel! Also, just as an observation on this thread, I find it interesting that most of the people saying that it isn't a big deal and that he should just propose are the married ladies. I guess after we have all lived through and enjoyed our weddings things like this just don't bother us as they would before hand when we were in total planning mode? I am trying to put myself in this situation as a B2B and not Mrs. and decide if I would have the same feeling on it, I *think* I would? IMO, this is a small situation in the big picture of everything going on for your wedding and if I were you , I wouldn't waste anymore time stressing over it. People will do what they want and honestly who are you to try and stop them?
  20. My hubby had a guys only fishing trip one day too and I was fine with it. Most of our guests only joined us for an extended 3 day weekend as well. While they were fishing I spent time with everyone else and barely even noticed he was gone! They fully enjoyed their time as did I, I really don't see a big deal in the "guys" doing something for just half a day if that is what they want to do. Besides there will be so many friends/family there with you, it won't be like your FI is leaving you all alone.
  21. OH I forgot, another option that you could explore if you want... a lot of brides have brought a local photog with them and worked something out to where they just paid for the travel expenses. This would be for a photog that is looking to expand their DW portfolio or something like that. It works out for everyone because you as the bride get pics and the photog gets to travel and shoot at a great location that they probably wouldn't get to if they stay local. So if there are any photogs that you have been eyeing that are not in PV, it wouldn't hurt to contact them and ask what they think about a DW. KWIM? does that make sense? OH and another option...there are a few BDW members turned wedding photogs, their pics are great too! you could always check them out, they aren't in PV but you could research them too...here are a couple that come to mind: http://tammybphotography.com/ http://www.melissagreen-photography.com I know there are more but that is all I can think of at the moment... you can always look at the vendor marketplace on BDW too for ideas http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/f98/
  22. yes that is another option, to bring a photog with you. although that could get pricey. here is another photog that is part time in PV...I know couple playa fiesta/BDW brides have used her: Maine and Puerto Vallarta Wedding Photography: Michelle Turner
