    Hello!

Welcome! There are lots of Riviera Maya brides on here. Several of us are getting married at El Dorado Royale, which is a sister property and can help with whatever you need! And we can't wait to see the dress!
  2. Sarah, is there any chance I could get these same monograms with my info? Isaac & Mandy, May 20, 2008, Riviera Maya, Mexico. The ones I've tried so far are sadly lacking! Our colors are more like 084 ans 127, I think, but it's hard to tell when they're not next to each other!! Thanks so much!!!!
  3. Ok, here are the bird of paradise clip art. Sorry I had to attach them, but this way you can download them to your computer and use as you see fit! Enjoy! bird of paradise watermark a.pdf bird of paradise sketch 2 a.pdf bird of paradise sketch a.pdf
  4. I found some great flower clip on this site. You have to register for a free 14-day trial, and you only get 3 free images, but you should be able to find what you need. Make sure you cancel your trial after you download, or you'll be charged almost $100! Christian Clipart, PowerPoint Backgrounds, Church Bulletin Covers - FaithClipart.com I'll try to post the 3 bird of paradise clip art I downloaded. Let me go read up on it first!
  5. It took me a while to find this thread, so I thought I'd bump it back up so more people can post their invites!
  6. My FI's mom and sister still haven't confirmed that they're coming yet! And I just went looking for the first time today for invitations. I think I might be a little behind!
  7. Quick question that I must have missed somewhere: Do you have to do the free dinner at El Cocotal, or will they let you do it somewhere else and set up all the tables together?

  9. Thanks for posting these! You two look amazing. Congrats!
  10. Morgan, I was looking for the directions you came up with to make these on your own! Just kidding, they're very cute. Thanks for the info!
  11. Has everyone posted their wedding dates in this thread? http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t9132-19 It seems like we're missing a few EDR brides!

  13. Welcome! I also considered St. Lucia, but decided against it due to the cost to guest, like others have mentioned.
  14. Unfortunately, your dates don't work for me. However, you inspired me to share a photographer with a fellow bride who is getting married a day after me. Thanks for the idea! I hope you find someone you can share with. Keep track of this thread to see if anyone posts those dates as their wedding day and try to PM them: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t9132-19 So far it doesn't look like anyone on here is getting married those days. Also, don't forget to post your pics when you get back!
  15. Maura, I'm glad all was well with your future in-laws. You've got the inside track!

I'm afraid to go with the photographer on site. What are your thoughts? Actually, another bride (from BDW!) and I are booking the same photographer (Vanessa Vargas) back-to-back days. PM me if you want some more info.

(With english meaning beside them.) A crypogram that is a thank you letter from my FI and myself.... Wow, that sounds like a ton of work! I bet it will turn out wonderful. Are you giving your guest the OOT bags before they leave (for the plane)?
  18. The fees for the photographer (or any outside vendor) are either $500 or 3 night's stay for the photographer, so you're fine.
  19. I've seen "traditional" weddings that didn't have a ring bearer, or flower girl, or 2 of each, or whatever. They just used the people important to them.
  20. Bre, you were absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to hear more, too!
  21. Maura, thanks so much for the info! That is exactly what we needed to know for moving to Mexico. Thankfully, my mom knew where to come to ask the right questions. I got your info, and I may continue e-mailing you as we get closer to moving.
  22. Just remember, at the end of it all, you'll still be married, and you're doing it at the beach of top of that!

I always thought the travel mugs were more to take home and use for coffee etc. I planned on doing wine or shot glasses but I am hesitant because everyone will have to pack them to get them home...maybe travel mugs are better? If anyone else has any insight or experience with this let me know! Thanks for asking! I was wondering the same thing.
