How far in advance should I get the fitting and how do I find a good seamstress (if that is what they are even called) if I ordered my dress online and not from a bridal shop?? Suggestions please

I love them! I got them from myshopangel.com after much researching. They seemed to be the best price, free print on both sides and bottom, free color split (50 teal and 50 navy), free logo submission from me which they helped me adjust to be more koozie friendly (less complex of a design so that the print would not bleed into eachother). I am sooo happy with them. I cant wait for my guests to see them. Each OOT bag will have 1 of each color since the majority have 2 people per cabin. Front has the cruise name with the ports of call and dates: Back has the "To have and To hold. To keep your drink cold" I love that! The bottom has our names, thank you, and wedding date:

i think you should attempt to be supportive of the new job since he likes it and not give him too hard of a time w/ it. many wives are away from their hubby's deployed over seas while fighting for our country for months and months at a time so be thankful that he is safe at home. just take advantage of the time you can spend together on the weekends or have dinner made for him when he gets home so you can just focus on eachother and enjoy the time you can spend together. if he is in bed at 10...curl up next to him and watch some tv. atleast you can snuggle while he sleeps =)

It's not worth the damage you are doing to your own reputation. She can be 110% wrong but your boss just wants it to stop and doesn't care who is wrong or right. I went thru a similar situation and you just have to be the adult and wave the white flag, be professional, and focus on your job.(I work w a major PSYCHO and that is how I deal w her) The negative tension isnt helping you either. Your brother is the one who needs to step in here. This should not be OK with him. I can see that maybe your SIL wouldnt be comfortable w/ your parents in the room while giving birth but they should have been called anyways and especially after the birth. Sorry but I blame your brother for not stepping in!

These are my BM dresses. Originally I wanted a sash but now I'm torn between that or a large/dramatic necklace instead. The sash pictured is not the actual sash I will buy...I just grabbed a belt out of my closet to get the effect. The sashes I will make will be an off-white linen material. Opinions please Example of a dramatic necklace ( not the color I want but you get the point)

My Mom bought me this purse for the wedding. I think it's really pretty but will not go with my wedding. I'm sure it will be perfect for someone else though! It has shells and beading all over the front of the bag. It has a zippered top with a linen lining on the inside. The handles are made of some shell type material (I know...real descriptive LOL). The tag is still on...it has never been used. I'll take an even $20 for it (including the S&H). Please let me know if you're interested. THanks!

Traget has beach towels in their $2.50 aisle right now. I am not sure about the actual quality or size but the colors were really nice...pinks, orange.
