I just went to the MAC store at Willowbend. Just call ahead to set up an appointment. She did a great job. She wrote everything down for me and is going to create a face chart so I can take along. Sort of like a paint by numbers! Do you have a friend or family member you can take along with you to watch? And they can apply it for you. I will also say, I worked a 12 hour shift after that and when I got home I still had a ton of makeup on

Reception food- I had picked a 3 course menu out of the options.... not a set menu but one I put together. Arugala salad, shrimp tortillas w/mango chutney and the options of beef tenderloin, grilled mahi or chicken stuffed w/mushrooms..... FANTASTIC. I had raves! Cons: Resturants- I know that they talk about how the food is sooo fabulous.... dont get me wrong their is fabulous food mixed in but the menu are tough. Italian resturant was the worst....dont get the eggplant parm or osso bucco. The Tapaz was great and the Zavaz was great... most people did not like le Chique. Alcohol- They claim that their is top shelf alcohol but there is not. According to the wedding sheet there was supposed to be belvedere vodka and don julio tequilla....nope. The alcohol is not top chelf and forget having a corona. Other than that I would completely reccommend this resort for a wedding to anyone! I also was scheduled to have my reception on the beach and after our private candlelight dinner we decided it would be to cold and moved the reception to the plaza and decided it was the best decision ever. It was beautiful! Dont pay for a dance floor! Also, for those of you who are using Tamms Photos for your photog your are going to be sooo happy. Tammara and Grant are wonderful. I am trying to convince them to come to visit in jersey. They were perfect! I cant wait to get pictures.... I will post as soon as I get them! Good luck guys... you made a great decision. I am so excited to hear about your wedding! It sounds like you had a great time. So the beach was cold and windy at night when you were there? FI and I are still trying to decide beach vs. ballroom. I change my ring every 28 days. Have 5-7 days off (with a very light period) and insert a new one. It is said to have enough hormones for 35 days straight. I have been doing this for 4-5 years with no problems. I have also had luck with skipping a period by taking out the ring at 21 days and immediately putting a new one in. So it should work out fine, but like starting any new BC, it takes your body some time to adjust, so there is always the chance of some spotting.

I think I am going to have his mom hold the rings in the shell I am making. She is very excited about our getting married. He is her only son and my parents have passed away. I think she would be honored to do it.

I am now getting ready to send out our AHR invites and RSVP postcards. I'm doing the whole thing on the cheap thanks to Vista Print. I'd like some tropical postage, but Zazzle is so pricey. About $18.00 for twenty 42 cent stamps. USPS doesn't really have anything cute. Just wondering if any of you found a better deal elsewhere?

Awesome job! I know they are a ton of work, but worth it in the end!

We registered for one. If we get it, great. But if not, we aren't out any money and we'll use whatever the resort provides.

I don't know, but I plan on bringing in shells and starfish for decor. I know its been done before, just hope it's not a problem for me.

I'm in Frisco as well, I'll keep checking the threads for any plans.

My parents died in a car accident 3 years ago. I know for sure I will have a framed picture on my bouquet. I have ordered a small bouquet of white roses to remember my mom and a conch sea shell for my step dad. I will either place them on a table with a candle and a note/poem or if I am brave enough place them on 2 empty chairs. I don't want to be morbid, but I believe that their loss on this huge day of mine is worth making a statement.
