We registered for everyday dinner wear. I agree that the china is beautiful, but I wanted to get something that we'd use.

I have done both ways. I think the printing on the envelopes looks better, but takes longer.

Don't even get me started on this Zocalo business...One day she tells me I need at least 40 people. The very next day, I am told it is now 50-70. If they are going to do 2 weddings a day we need OPTIONS. I have never wanted a beach reception. So for now we are booked in a banquet room, but I'm still working on Zocalo. We are paying a good amount for these weddings and the inconsistency and the inflexibility is nerve wracking. I told you not to get me started! You won't need to rent a dance floor for there because it is a concrete patio. Why can't you have the Plaza? It appears to be a lot larger than Zolcalo. I'm beginning to wonder if she has them confused?!?!

I have fallen off the wagon too for the past 2 weeks probably. I feel like level 1 gave me some good results and if I ever get started again, I'm on to level 2.

This might be a blessing in disguise- I know you want the 'old' Jon to be there. But do you really want to worry about what Jon is doing at your wedding with unlimited alcohol? You deserve to have a great time and not to babysit. I'm sorry that it has turned out this way. I hope someday he realizes it and gets the help he needs to turn his life around.

What do you plan on wearing as you get your hair and make-up done? I'm thinking just a simple dress or even swimsuit cover-up from Forever 21 or American Eagle. But then there is part of me that wants to go the customized tank route. I think a hoodie would be cute, but hot. I can't wait to see what you've come up with!

This is what we used- "Dress code for the wedding is 'Beach Formal'. Dress for the elements (sun, sand, and water) He could wear: A summer suit with a linen shirt (no ties required), linen pants or khakis, and sandals. She could wear: A formal summer sundress at tea- or knee-length with flat sandals. "

We are in a similar situation, although our resort is sold out. So we have 2 guests staying off site. We are thinking of covering the cost of the passes for the wedding and then they can pay for the passes if they want to come to the rehearsal dinner.

Are you talking about the area attached to the restaurant outside? I love Azul Beach! How many people were you off by? I really don't see why it matters to the resort so much. Everyone has already paid regardless of where they will be eating dinner in the evening, so it's not like they'll be losing money by closing down an area of a restaurant.

I'm so torn on what to do. Apparently we are 12 people too short to have Zocallo (min. of 50). The other wedding is using the Plaza Deck. We were offered the beach as our option for our dinner and reception. I really don't want to be in the sand all day, we would have to rent the dance floor and additional lighting, I assume. I also get eaten alive by sand flies/mosquitos at night every time I go to Mexico. I asked about any poolside areas and Tiffany said those were for cocktail receptions only. The other option I can think of is the inside banquet rooms. So what should we do? We are of course going to talk to the on site coordinators upon our arrival about having it at Zocallo, but according to Tiffany Karisma won't let her book it. Any suggestions??

I confess that my FI has been OOT since Wednesday and I have not worked out and have blown my diet. I have had Little Caesars (stretched to 3 meals), Panda Express ( stretched to 2 meals) and Taco Cabana (1 meal). I have no accountability. You'd think that my dress fitting tomorrow would be enough to motivate me, but nooooo. I suck.

I got mine from Target in the dollar spot section, but I think they were $2.50.
