before we got there, i was under the impression that dinner was usually at Mammee bay. but they told us when we met with them that dinner would be at the plantation. we had one long table, 25 guests. we served ourselves salad and bread but then dinner was from the steakhouse menu. we had our cake there. we were there about 2 hours with only about 2 waiters and a busboy or 2. no charge. but then, we moved to the seagrape for dancing and that was an extra fee. if my dinner would have been at mammee bay, it would have been no big deal. in fact, it almost would have been better because then you could just walk down the stairs to the seagrape, instead of walking all the way from one side of the resort to the other.

i made mine on shutterfly and they are great. you want me to email you my "thank you" from the sand?

i don't understand why some people have to pay for the plantation? this is where my dinner was and it was free. it does not make sense to me. don't get me wrong, i am not complaining, it just does not seem fair to you guys.

no way. it was humid. we had the bonfire for an extra 150 and it was so great! they set up a long table and chairs but i did not sit at it at all. i was a dancing fool! above the seagrape is the entertainment area so sometimes people will look down at you, but it is really mild. oh, and it was so warm that we did not mind running into the ocean after the reception, my whole wedding party actually did.

my cousin swears she is naming her first daughter ambrosia. i keep trying to tell her that this is a fluffy dessert but she does not listen. she thinks it is a great name.

super private. we had dinner at the plantation and there were 25 of us. it was great. there was one other wedding party there but you could not see or hear them. i know that you want to do something beachy but the restaurant is open-air so it is still great. oh, and if people did try to infiltrate my beach party my BMs put a stop to it. they were like security!

you could do what we did, have dinner at one of the restaurants, for free. then move to the beach for dancing and drinks. it was awesome.

There is a tiny casino at the ROR. There are about 20 slots there. Sandals is right next door but I don't think you can go there whenever you want to because it is all-inclusive.

Rachel, this is not right! I am a RN. Almost every shift that I work, someone gets admitted for seizures. If they try to get her sent home again, I would try to have her transferred. That is just my opinion but that is crazy! Good luck!
