I am in Las Vegas and we have Sam's/Costco...not sure what you have in Boston...but the last time I was in I saw 100 jewel cases for under $20! I am making cds and I purchased the paperboard CD case from Wedding Favors - Personalized Wedding Gifts from Bliss! Weddings Market at $.40 each. Finally, my dress is here. I found the dress I wanted at Demtrios, and purchased it through netbride.com! I saved a ton of money (around $500) It arrived at work this week! I tried it on at work (my boss walked in on my, of course, but that is a story for another day) and it fits! I tried it on again at home and I think I may get away with no alterations! I can't believe it, I am saving more money! I will have to have a bustle (sp) added, but I don't even think I will have cups sewn in. I will include a review of netbride.com on another post, but for the most part it was a great experience. The box was damaged (a hole) and the dress was not packaged in the garmet bag (a plastic bag instead). The dress was fine, but a wrote them an scathing email and they promptly responded and refunded a portion of the cost. I was pleased with their apology. I believe had the dress been damaged they would have resolved it. I am def glad I ordered from them, it was worth it. Here are few photos of me in the dress. I am wearing the necklace and earrings I purchased last weekend (the third set). Let me know if you have any comments on the necklace...I could tell my mom didn't love it so I am interested to hear what others think!!! Here it goes! I never thought I would say "Bridal Showers are Fun" but I sure enjoyed my shower! I was nervous and really not looking forward to being the center of attention, but I have to admit, it was awesome! I will tell you a bit about the shower and post some pictures! Not that this will help many of you since you are probably not hosting your own shower, but I thought I would share anyhow! Four of my girlfriends threw a sparkling white shower. All guests wore white (I wore black) and there was lots of champagne. Even a champagne boy who kept our glasses full! They put out a wonderful spread of food, a beautiful cake (with our logo) and two chocolate fountains! The champagne glasses were the favors. They worked so hard and it was beautiful! One of my girlfriends who loves to be behind the camera took lots of pics....here is a link if you are interested, but believe me there are A LOT! Bridal Shower Pics The pics came out so neat with all the guests in white! I was really touched by how hard the girls worked...I do not have a bridal party, so this was no ones "official" duty but they stepped up and it was really good of them to do so. Also, check out the post about my favorite gift...the panty line! Such a cute idea! We played a few games, the best was a video they made of my FI! They asked him 45 questions and made a DVD of the questions and his answers! So then they asked me the same questions and paused it while I responded then played his answer! It was hilarious! If I got the question wrong I had to put a marshmellow in my mouth! It was highly entertaining! Not to mention my FI thinks he is a comic. I thought this was going to be lame, but we had SO many laughs! They kept it moving fast and gave me very little time to answer. Here are a few highlights: Champagne Cake Food Spread Chocolate! One of my girl friends set up this gift at my shower. It was a hit! So cute! So, next time you are a bridesmaid...think of this as an awesome shower gift! She printed out several copies of the poem (see below) and then used clothes pins and twine to hang the paties and a corresponding verse on a panty line! Haha. I just spent over two hours searching veils on the forum and browsing websites!!! This is totally my inspiration picture too! I was hoping I could just send it off and say, "I want a veil like this" but I realize that is not going to happen! There are so many choices and options! I will actually have to shop around and make some choices and put some thought into it! I was in the mood for an easy purchase and check mark off the list today....darn!

We mailed our invitations out two weeks ago, but our camera was lost about the same time. I finally found this old digital camera in the closet, but it is not quite the same. Sorry about the pic quality. Our invitations are handmade and were designed and produced by: Cathy Colbert First Dance Cards 702-290-6805 First Dance Cards [email protected] I am really happy with the final product, they are clearly personal, unique and very professional at the same time. The outer envelope is pearl and opens at the top. We sealed it with a logo sticker just as we did with the Save the Date Cards. I can't believe I forgot to take a pic of that part because it looks really nice and finishes it off well. The invitation is inserted along with an information card with our honeymoon registry info listed. The cost of the card was very reasonable. We paid $4.15 per invitation including the assembly, registry card, invitation and envelope! Also, Cathy was a pleasure to work with. In fact she created 5 different options for me in my price range, each handmade and very creative for me to choose from. She modified our draft twice after that until we got it perfect. I would highly recommend her services to anyone. She is located her in las vegas but can work via mail and email! In any event, here our our invitations.
