I totally need a strapless bra! As far as the dress goes, I ended up getting a dress with a back in it so I could wear a bra. What does your dress look like? I'm glad you'll get a new seamstress. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I also bought this stuff called MI Paste. It is a prescription strength flouride to help your teeth not be so sensitive. I use this before and after the bleach (or anytime my teeth get sensitive). OMG Erica - I SO feel your pain! ALL I do is pick up toys! I am going to get some more bins to put some of my kids' things away. It is insane the amount of crap my kids end up with! I love the bins. Hopefully they will help you out too! I am also a packrat. I have bins of their stuff that I just refuse to get rid of. I guess because I don't have any of my baby stuff and I want them to have stuff to pass on or have when they get older. Have fun!

Utilize chiffon (if you can) because it's sheer yet not stiff (like say tulle) and will look pretty blowing in the wind. If you could utilize aqua/teal chiffon overlays over white tablecloths, that's my biggest suggestion - because, otherwise, white is your primary color and that's what is making some of the photos you are seeing so "modern" in their takes. Depending on your budget, you might also consider a shade of aqua/teal (not the same shade as the overlays - perhaps darker) for napkins and then wrap them with white ribbon and have either a little red bud in the middle OR maybe have placecards with red type. Red flowers interspersed with lanterns for the centerpieces I think would look really great. Another option, instead of utilizing colored napkins, would be to have aqua/teal maracas with a red design on them as placemarkers - that would look stunning and double as a favor. (we do those btw - check the sept 1st blog when it comes out ). If you can find an aqua/teal ribbon with a an antique red scroll on it, that would be fab to utilize as accent marks in various places (i.e. perhaps you wrap the middle of a wine glass with the ribbon or the napkins, etc.). Depending on where you are having your wedding, to have some flowing chiffon fabric (in this case I think white would look better), tied back with aqua/teal ribbon could also help to make things look more romantic and dreamy, as opposed to being so modern. Just a few ideas.... :) WOW - my head is spinning with these wonderful ideas! I think I want maracas! I PM'd you before I read this.

Mexican Wedding Flags
Celina replied to indypitty's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
Actually, this is the wording from virtualvallarta.com In Vallarta, the place to buy it and maybe even see it being made is Libreria y Papeleria Limon at Venustiano Carranza 315 in the South Side. While elaborate cutouts and those made of plastic are sold here but not made locally, tissue paper and scissors at every work station let staff make this cheery people's art to order whenever they have a free moment. Expect to pay only about $2 USD for a 27-foot string of it. I am going to e-mail Mishka Designs and see if she knows if this place is still there. I hope it is because I was going to go there to get my picado papel from them when we got there. If it is and when we get there it is great, I'll let you guys know. -

Isn't it great when they respond right away?! I love it when my WC e-mails me! It's like a little present when I see the email from her! Yay on the alterations! I am scared as heck to go on Sunday! Tara, I got the custom trays done at my dentists office and they were like $300. The dentist gives me some bleach in a syringe and each syringe costs $20 but is good for two whitenings.

We sent out 100 invites which = 200 people. We have guaranteed 30 people attending the Mexico wedding and I hope that only 75 attend our AHR. After I sent them out I realized I should have had a B-list for the AHR or sent them a wedding invite only and not included the info for the AHR. Now I'm praying that some of them don't come because of capacity issues at the location of our AHR.

I always wanted a short dress - this one was totally me! Plus it has a full back so I can wear a bra and it's an A-line to camofl the lumps and bumps! LOL! Also - I'm a Klutz and would fall down in a long dress. I would trip for sure! Quote: Originally Posted by DanielleNDerek Monday I'm getting my teeth whitened and having my first dress fitting. I was wondering...what was your wedding dream when you were a little girl? Some girls dream of the big wedding with the horse and carriage....some dream of the beach. I used to wrap a towel on my head and pretend it was my veil. LOL! I also had a doll that looked like this. When I was like 8 I used to dream that I would one day wear a big ol dress and a big gigantosaurus veil like the doll. The funny thing is, 28 years later...YUP ~ I am wearing a veil and flower in my hair just like the doll. LOL!

Okay...these are the only good pics I could find on line. I have one at home that I cut out of a magazine that actually shows the back of her hair. It's up but not all the way up...KWIM? Here's a side view... Here's my dress BTW...it is ivory. I am wearing a fingertip length veil with a scalloped edge that has embroidery and beading along the edge. The veil is pretty ornate. I also want to wear a flower behind my ear. Once it's all on it is very Spanish looking.

Celina replied to meagan's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I did these "swag bags" to give to them before we leave The bags have a tank that says maid of honor or bridesmaid or flowergirl a tropical lotion a tropical lip gloss a luggage tag a manicure set a pair of earrings for every day wear (SS hoops with cz's) I am also giving them a SS starfish necklace at the rehearsal dinner along with their earrings for the wedding. I also paid for their dresses and shoes. -
