  4. welcome to the forum... im sure you willf ind this just as informative and helpful as all the other couples on here... happy wishes
  5. k so heres a funny joke my dad told me today... A dog is truly man's best friend. If you don't believe it, just try this experiment. Put your dog and your wife in the trunk of the car for an hour. When you open the trunk, who is really happy to see you? .. wait a minute if it was a husband and a dog in a truck im sure it would be just the same thing...
  6. that has to be like the coolest thing ever hahaha. simply on the name factor alone if it works or NOT
  7. very considerate of you to know that perhaps just the cost of the travel isnt enough. once again i agree with nic on this topic. because it wouldnt just be that he is giving you the wedding for free but he would loose out on money that he cant be photogrphing. you have to realize that us photographers really only have 50 weekends to make money and the rest of the time is editing and traveling and this and that AND trying to fit in some social time with friends and family during wedding season. when it comes to this situation with friends i sometimes offer to do it for just the cost of travel if they are really good friends and sometimes ill just give a discount on the photography services. if i were you i would just count on paying full price for everyting and whatever this friend does is up to him. if he is a good friend of yours he will most likely offer a huge discount if not even do it for free as a gift. even if you pay full price you can count on that the photos will turn out even better then with another photographer because you will all be so casual and comfortable with each other. and that will carry through in your photos.
  8. there is actually a form you can sign at the court house that will legally force her to stop being rude and annoying and pretty much force her to shut the F*** up. just got there and ask for the MIL-3030.
  9. im really glad that women are realizing this... you dont have to spend a gazillion dollars on jewelry for your wedding day. ive seen some of the cheapest 10 dollar jewelry look amazing and who's to tell otherwise.

I sincerely think you fit in this category and your clients are lucky to have you as their photographer. Best to you! Jessica just got a warm and fuzzy feeling all over... ahhh thank you... i truly hope that im helpful and informative in here... AND bring some laughter and smiles
  11. when... you actually start to regret having to photograph a wedding because you know it means you wont be able to get on BDW and you'll get back to 1,500 unread postings to catch up on hehe
  12. not me... i say we all meet up at el gaucho's and christa is fitting the bill hehehe im down for whatever. i dont drink so doesnt matter me none where its at. downtown or cap hill works good for me. and are we doing the 27th then?
  13. its weird i was able to text in the DR but when i was in Tulum MX for some reason texts werent going out but coming in. i think the hotels just decided to find a way to block my outgoings so that i had to call collect which ended up being about 80 dollars for 6 phone calls...
  14. im not a lady but ill still keep my fingers crossed for you

  17. ohhh theres this really quaint and stylish coffee shop i know of we could meet at.. its called starbucks.. have you guys heard of it hahaha syyyyke.. pink door works for me or something downtown along those lines... bleu on cap hill is deeeelicius but not much room there if its more then 4 people
  18. ohhh heck yess. that emoticon is perfect.. BDW sword wielding ninja hitmen. thats so what we need...
  19. the problem is that with her mentality she will flip that in her head and make it even more of a reason to harass them. its a total catch 22. BDW just needs to have a set of hitmen stationed through out the country to take care of the crazy exes
  20. i say we still make doug wear the kilt..

She got pregnant and he married her. It didn't worked out and obviously they still need to have contact with one another due to his son. Well she's crazy and she's a bit psycho. So, it's been a long time since she has done things like this, but anyway here it is. Every once in a while she used to send him an email or a picture that she wanted him to see and will call him..."ooops I meant to send it to someone else and I sent it to you by accident, so ignore it." So this afternoon we're at the Arboretum and his phone rings, and it's her. "ooops I was trying to upload my picture for my business card but I accidently sent it to you, so ignore it." Of course Mark says yea whatever. So we get home and this is what's on his email. A seductive picture that she took of herself from her iPhone and email it from there. This girl is crazy!!!!!! What in the world?? Forgot to mention. She's remarried and has a 2 month all baby with her new husband. oh maaaan... TROUUUBLEEEE... ive had to deal with ex gfs like that... theres really no easy way around it especially since they have a kid together. no matter how much you tell them to stop or ignore it the more they do it because thats all they are wanting. one thing you dont have to worry about though is him ever wanting to go back to her... no matter how sexy a woman is it doenst make up for being insane hahaha.. all you can really do is put up with it and hope she gets divorced from this guy and moves on to sending the photos to him... ohhh what he should do is forward that email on to her new husband and just call her up and be like "OOOPSSSSS...." hahaha and if that doesnt work i know some people who know some people who make "accidnets" happen
  22. hmmmm... i kind of prefer "girl talk" but thats just the kind of girl.. i mean guy i am....
  23. oh mannn.. if i could have it the way i wanted it i would go with the free one because i have some sick plans i could only do here at home and no way i could get it worked out DW style... (its hard to import 37 goats and a firetruck to another country ) "if you had 37 goats and a firetruck what would you do with them at your wedding?"
  24. welcome to you... happy planning and have the best wedding possible
  25. the 27th or the 28th works for me. more so the 27th.. but whatever is clever
