Hello and welcome to the forum. It is never too late to join. Congrats on your recent wedding.
  2. My puppy turns 1 in about a month and I want to have a party for her. Has anyone ever baked a doggy cake? If so, would you mind sharing the recipe. We only feed our puppy dog food (sometimes she gets the occansional lick of people food) but I want to do something for her besides just doggy treats. Any ideas?
  3. Hello and welcome to the forum. Having a destination wedding was the best decision we ever made. You should definitely do it!!!

    Hi there!

Hi Amy. Welcome to the forum. I am a Cancun bride so if you have any questions about that, please let me know. Having a destination wedding was the best choice that we made. You won't be disappointed!!
  8. Hello and welcome. There is a lot of information about Jamaica on here. Have a look around and I am sure you will find everything you need and then some. Happy planning.

  13. Our maid comes every 3 weeks and she is absolutely fabulous. I don't know how she makes the bed so tight. I can certainly appreciate a well made bed now!! We pay $80 and have about a 3,000 square foot townhouse (3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 4 levels).
  14. This is what we used for ours but everyone ate the same food (steak AND salmon). But you could put different colored ribbon to signify the entree selection. Plus they added great ambiant lighting on the dinner tables.
  15. Super cute. Great choice. For the flowers, what about a coral color. I think the contrast would be great.
  16. We had a few people bring us gifts to Mexico but they were not cumbersome at all. Our guests traveled from many different countries so the ones that brought the gifts probably didn't want to worry about mailing them to us in the States. I would assume that most people would just know to send them to your house or give them to you before or after you travel.
  17. That is a beautiful dress. I am glad to hear that you won't have to spend any extra money. Alterations are a rip-off!
  18. That dress is gorgeous and it will look great on you for sure!!
  19. Glenda ~ WOW. What a day!!! I can't believe all that happened BUT like you said, at the end of the day, you are married to your best friend. Congrats Mrs. V!!! Thanks for sharing the pics via Maura!! Everything looked amazing!
  20. Hi Stephanie. Welcome to the forum. You are definitely in the right place to help with all your planning needs. Best of luck!

We will always refer to the Mexico one as our true anniversary....but am I not thinkin of something else here!? hahahahaha We had a Catholic ceremony in Mexico on May 10 and then we did our legal ceremony after we returned to the States on June 2 (DH's birthday). It worked out perfectly for us and we didn't have any problems.

A guy at my work said he could throw it together for me no problem. Hmmmm. I will have to ask him what program he will be using. I'll let you know.
