  1. Thanks for posting these! It looks beautiful! Do you think the Reef Terrace location can accommodate 40 people? I was planning to use "ceremony option A"--I don't know the official name for it! Did you see this location? How private is it?
  2. I too found this out when looking for an instant camera for my photo guestbook. I bought the camera on Ebay for $37. The film is now running pretty expensive on Ebay. I found a seller who was willing to sell me 3 packs of film for $80. Needless to say, I declined! Staples is selling the film 4 packs (40 pics) for $47 or so. Good luck in your search!
  3. I packed mine in the little plastic zip-lock baggies (used to put jewelry in--size 2x3) and they have been fine for the last month since I've done it. I have the cute little suitcase favors and put one little baggie of MMs in each one. They have been fine in the those to date. I'll let you know how it goes since I'll be traveling with them very soon!
  4. You can also check with Ann's Bridal Bargans. They sell custom napkins for $17 or $18 per 100. (I bought custom matchbooks and sewing kits from here.) Great site!
  5. Those hanging orchids look so beautiful blowing in the breeze! You look absolutely beautiful!

Welcome back Twelve-Piece! Can't wait to hear all about your wedding trip. Congratulations!!!
  8. I very briefly considered this option and would have ordered some visors from this website: http://capsandvisors.com/baseball_caps.htm The prices seemed reasonable to me and they had a large variety of hats. FI shot me down though, so alas no hats! LOL
  9. Why not contact a taxi/tour company and make transportation arrangements for your wedding weekend. All of my guests are staying at Sandals, but I have Lees Tours who will be transporting my guests to and from my offsite reception, as well as being on call for my guests when and if they want to leave the resort. I'm only paying $260 for this. Pretty affordable. There is a thread called Lees Tours that has their contact information. Hope this helps!
  10. I have one that's a size 12. Brand new, never worn (looks exactly like Ann's). PM me if interested!

My MOH takes really awsome pictures as a hobby and she really wants to take them but I dont want her to have to worry about it since she is actually my only BM. I honestly think she does a better job than the pictures I saw from the Sandals photographers though. I guess I am just annoyed cause I contacted Darma sooo long ago and have followed up on it several time. This is the secound time I have gone through this with her. I know I am not having a large money making wedding but I feel I am sooo insignificant! Now that's interesting because Darma has been calling me weekly trying to get me to make my final selections. I feel bad because I'm really not going to making many. I think that since I moved my reception offsite, she's trying to pin me down on other details to bring in a little more money. LOL!! Hmmm, wonder why she's being such a stranger to you? I would try to call again and maybe ask to speak to another wedding consultant to just get things moving along and get your selections made.

  13. I read that story yesterday. Completely amazing. The baby is cute--even with two faces. LOL! I kept wondering if she could breathe from both noses, if she could eat with both mouths. I know, I know...but I wondered...
  14. Wow Courtney! Everything looks beautiful! I love the chocolate OOT bags and your hanging orchids have solidified my decision to do the same! You will be a beautiful bride and your guests will be blown away with how much thought and heart you've poured into your wedding. Soak everything in and have a great time!
  15. Got mine too after the UPS delivery mixup! They're beautiful. Thanks so much Carly & Trish!

  17. I'm trying to tie up all of my loose ends now. I still need to get my viel, shoes, wedding jewelry and my FI still needs to get a suit! On the Sandals side, we're making our final payment for the entire group today! I still need to send the WC our final selections this week (photography, decor, choosing dates & times for our free massage and mani/pedi, and other things that come with our wedding package.) I've started packing all the OOT bag items, favors, etc. All I have to do now is buy all my cute honeymoon clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc.! I'm also preparing to mail out my passport invitation booklets (I know---waaayyyy late!) and final wedding update for the guests. Time is flying, but everything is coming together slowly but surely!

  19. Mine were delivered to my old apartment and the new resident is holding it hostage! He's out of town til next Tuesday, so I'll get them then. I'm going to try to be patient until then, but that box better be sealed and in tact when I go to pick it up from the rental office! Thanks for your help Trish!
  20. Still excitedly awaiting mine. I got a FedEx delivery sticker today but it had no identifying information on it. I signed it so they will deliver tomorrow. I hope that this is the pashminas! I've been getting packages daily so I don't know which package this one is! LOL!! I hope to get the pash package tomorrow. Can't wait!
  21. and congratulations to another fellow Sandals bride!
  22. Yayyy!! I'm also at SGOR on May 17, 2008. Photos of the various wed sites would be great...as well as photos of the chairs used for outdoor ceremonies. I will be hosting 40 guests for my wedding though. Could you also get pictures of these sites for me? This will help me choose which locatioins to host these two events! Thanks so much for doing this!

And depending on what you're looking for, you can always request Indian Remy/Cuticle hair...thats always going to be virgin (unprocessed) human hair that is fairly expensive and of good quality if you're getting it from a reputable salon. The thing with that is that its collected (supposedly) from a single donor, so the cuticles match throughout. Thats important in that if its non matching, it tangles easily. Its like....mixing hair that goes against the grain. Does that make sense? A lot of non Remy hair is processed to be smooth and untangled...Remy is supposed to be naturally manageable. I'd heard that Remy was the best to get, but it's soooo expensive. In one shop I was quoted $79.99 for 12 " solid color, $89.99 12" for mixed color, and $89.99 14" solid, $99.99 14" mixed! I think I'm going to shop around. I'm a novice when it comes to weaves, but I think it might be my best option. I'm torn as to whether to get wet and wavy or just a deep body wave. I not sure that I want tight curls on my wedding day (wetnwavy look).
