  1. I don't think it is so wrong that she is smoking but complaining about sound causing her baby issues when she has control over her smoking and isn't doing anything about that. It is much easier to blame others for you child's issues when you maybe the cause of them.
  2. yuck! You really are packed in there nice and firm aren't you. This may or may not make you feel better but my friend has a 1 year old, she lives in a 2 bedroom apt ( expecting child #2 in a month) and some A-hole just bought her son an inflatable ball pit! WTF- in an apartment!
  3. We just ordered a proof from Unique announcements and invitations: birth, birthday, anniversary, wedding favor, bachelor & bachelorette invitation. of our invite to the rehersal dinner. I will let you all know how they turned out but we love the idea. The price is pretty good.
  4. We are using Kermit singing "The rainbow connection" We are both huge Jim Henson fans so it really works for us. That is only a few minutes long so I threw some nice acoustic guitar in there as well.
  5. What a wonderful story!! I love that photo, make sure you put that on your STD's! Congrats!
  6. I guess I would have to ask if you need to just glue/tape them or are they secured with ribbon? It is pretty hard today for sure but you could get a bunch of friends together and just power through it. I agree with you that getting them out sooner would be nice for you and for your guests.
  7. Can't really help you but welcome to the forum.
  8. Jean M offers a great frame that you can add to your bouquet but I just can't imagine dropping $24 plus shipping ( I need 2) So I started looking into making my own. I will give you all some details just incase you want to make your own. Here is the end product. One photo is of my father who passed away when I was 17 and the other is Chris' brother who died in a car crash when he was very young The frames that are sold specifically for this purpose cost more than buying just this simple bracelette. I pulled the frames apart. They are made by blue moon beads and you may be able to find them for cheaper than I could. I got these at Michaels. Then there was the extra loop left at the bottom so I took a wire cutter and trimmed it and then had to file it a little to get rid of the extra metal This is what they look like close up This is the final product:
  9. Wow you really have been beaten up by the system! Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I used to work for a homeopath and would encrourage you to see if you can find one in your area who can help you. I swear it works!

  12. Check with Heidi, she has the logo set-up you can play with
  13. UUUGH! You are not overeacting! That is so rude. It would be one thing if she sent you each a card but that is a huge slap int he face. WTF is up with FMIL's? Mine does some crap like that too. I am sorry to hear you have to deal with her crap.

I made sure each guest room booked would have one female in it becuase I can't see too many guys carrying these around.

I really wanted to get them done so I did as much as I could with out being silly and having to undo stuff.
  17. Those are wonderful, I love the one of you all looking at the ocean. Keep those close by on the days you want to pull your hair out because of those cuties.

I'm very proud of you! you had me for a second there! Some people say "necessity is the mother of invention" well I I say having no money is the mother of invention. So I really had to do this stuff. I do appreciate your compliment, I needed it after spending some of my winter vacation curled up with a paper trimmer.
  21. This is a toss up between DIY and OOT bags info so it is a grey/gray area. I decided to make my bags rather than buy them. I am not sure how many I will have to make ( still waiting on RSVP-big surpise!) Here are the bags, you will see it is an action shot-the dog is pulling them away. I am also working on candles and I had some extra bags left over so decided to do this little project. I just printed these off and used a glue stick to secure them on top. The candles are from Big Lots ( $1 each). Thanks to Heidi for the logo template I had this poem I found so I printed it off on white paper and mounted it on some fun scrapbook paper. I punched holes in the bag and the paper and put pink ribbon through the holes to tie it closed. I am going to run out after the holiday to get some matches to throw in there.
