This story makes my stomach turn. I work in a school with 90% Iraq students. Just this past year we had 2 seventh graders (both 13) and one eighth grader ( 14 years old) get married to men all in their late thirties. They told teachers they were scared of their husbands, one is now divorced. One girl's husband would pick her up from school and he looked so old, more like her father...it was disturbing! So sad...

My Bachlorette party is starting at my sisters, she is having appetizers, drinks, etc. (i did the same for her so she is repaying the favor) then we are heading to the bars in a limo. It is going to be 40- per girl only if they are going on the limo. Obviously once we get to the bar they are paying for their own cocktails. I think anywhere from 40-50 dollars is acceptable due to the cost of limo's. To cut out the cost i would eliminate the dinner and have food at someone's house....or just keep the Melting Pot dinner to those who really want to attend and dont mind paying (most will probably want to attend)...how fun, it sounds like our parties are around the same time!

I would say handwritten, it is so much more personal and your guests will appreciate it much more.

I love the color, I think once you add some bigger pieces of jewlery it will look great. I would do the big necklace in the picture, its beautiful!

UPDATE: I ordered the necklace below and just got them today! They are beautiful in person, the pearls are very large and have a great shine to them!Thank you Lauren for finding this jeweler she was super fast on her delivery, I ordered them on Saturday and her quality is great!

Ann made a great point! I feel bad for the situation you are in...it is not fair at all for you and you are not making a big deal out of it, you are being honest and your fiance needs to respect you and your feelings. Im assuming he would not feel comfortable if you had a guy friend wrestling with you or obviously flirting. I think your fiance needs to talk to her, stressing the fact that he respects and loves you and does not appreciate her actions or interferences. I do not feel you need to be friends with her. You are an adult, seperating yourself from someone you do not like for good reason is fine in my opinion.

I'm sorry Ana that would be hard, especially since you just decided your plan on Saturday. It will get some getting used too but it sounds like this is a great decision for both of you and for your future! Two months will fly and think about the visits...those will be very fun!!!
