Drop everything & do it. Momentum can build from there. Good luck! Did it!
  4. That is crazy! In my opinion the pressure should be taken off of you and placed on FI's step sister to MOVE HER WEDDING DATE!!! Geez!!! We announced our intentions of getting engaged shortly after FI's bro proposed to his FI. We had already been talking about it for so long and their engagement came as quite a shock to everyone. We were engaged about 4 months later (btw my FI did ask his bro's "permission" before proceeding). We then made sure to put plenty of time between our weddings. There's will be in March of '08, and ours in May of '09. We really didn't want to steal their thunder and kept them in mind throughout the planning.
  5. We live in Dallas and go to Palm Beach Tan. I definitely recommend the one in Uptown if you live near that area. GREAT staff and service. We do the Mystic Tan, so I don't know much about regular tanning beds.

It's been rough, and we've both been going through quite a bit personally and within our relationship. We're really trying to figure things out tho and get back on the Love Boat (OMG that sounded corny!!! hahaha)

Curious, is this a photographer you heard about through Patti Jo? What locations are you going to shoot at? I was thinking it sounded like a good deal. He does amazing work with architecture so we definitely want to shoot downtown. I also want to get some fall foliage shots in there (we're planning on shooting Nov. 25th - hopefully the leaves will still be pretty!). Also, we have a great roofdeck with downtown right in the background so I was thinking that would be a great place as well. If you have any other ideas please let me know! THANKS!
  8. Hey ladies, So we are about to book our engagement photo session. The package sounds good to me but I just wanted to run it by you all to see if you think there's anything else I should inquire about. 2-4 hr. shoot (depending on how we are feeling, weather, etc.) Dvd with all the resolution images in color and black and white 1 - 11x14 and 10 4x6's = $400 He is driving up here from Houston and says we can shoot as many locations as we can fit in/want. Also he says he will have the DVD w/images Fed Ex'ed to us in a week. I will let you know who he is and write a formal review after we've received our pics (and of course share the pics! )
  9. This was the first thing I saw when I logged on this afternoon and I did not want to believe it. I am so sorry. I know there's not really anything anyone can say right now to make it better. I feel extremely saddened, and you will continue to be in my thoughts...

And don't forget the carrot cake !!! lol @ carrot cake I guess I was thinking money because there will already be 3 other gifts in the package... I'll consider the massage gift cert. thanks.
