Are you sure the resort does bottles? We knew ours didn't and we opted for insulated travel mugs. We're not staying at an AI resort, so it will be up to the guests! We went ahead with the collapsible because it will be much easier to pack, and they can use it for sodas too
  3. GAH, I'm at $99.97, but could get 10% OFF if it was $100 or more! Seriously, I'm .03 cents away! Ahhhh, lol ~ gonna try and contact them and see if we can work something out
  4. Amanda: Oooh, ok - maybe I can just write him a little note in the card I'm going to give him about your suggestion "For keeping track of every minute of the rest of our lives together" I LOVE this one, and it's on sale - $60 off!! So only $100! Perfect! Just gotta check on shipping... if anyone has any idea on engraving it though I'm still ALL EARS! I also really like this one which is about $50 off and only $93...

Here are a few I found online... "The Roxanne" watch_box 4 Watch Travel (Oversized Watches) 53 mm max. 4 Watch Case Leather-Black Leather Watch Cases - Black Leather Men's Watch Collectors Case Watch Display Cases - Black Leatherette 6 Collector Watch Display Case You could even get a plaque engraved to attach to it...a cute saying could be "For keeping track of every minute of the rest of our lives together - Jamie & Martin, May 24, 2009" or something like that. Good Luck sweetie!! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!! Ooooh, what a GREAT idea! Only I bet he'd think there was a watch in there! LOL But still, good idea, me likey! Wonder where I could get a plaque engraved to attach to it in time... and then, how would I attach it?? If someone could help me with that info, I'd REALLY appreciate it! Think this is a great gift idea for him :)
  6. Thanks NaM! That would be great!!! That sucks about them taking it out of your paycheck though! Darn Better than paying out of pocket though!! This sounds like a great job for me because I am a sales person! haha, but I work in the art business and should probably stay and keep my job there Do you know if they get to extend any sort of benefits (like free tanning) to their spouses? Just curious!

BUT I am feeling better today!!! :) Also - I got my Kustom Koozies ordered!!!!! I am SOOOOO excited about this!!! They will be lime green with blue print and read: "Rain or Swine!" ~ insert Beach Chair Image~ May 24th, 2009 Puerto Vallarta, MX Just got off the phone with the lady and she extended me a 20% discount plus half off the rush fee! (Kustom Koozies) They should arrive by May 15th! Just in time!!!
  8. Yay, just placed my order! Lime green koozies with blue print, 30 of them, and she said they should be here by the 15th which is 4 days before we leave!
  9. lol, thanks! The poor woman who was working with me... I was just in a PISSY mood and it really was not their fault. well, i was honestly confused about the rush delivery but they are taking care of me - 20% discount since my wedding was so affected by the swine flu (this is why I wanted to go with them - was NOT expecting to get this myself since it was only supposed to be for brides who had already ordered custom koozies but due to the SF wanted to get new personalized koozies), plus they cut the rush charge down from $30 to $15. SO I think I'll come in just under the $100 mark for about 30 personalized koozies, which makes me very happy! This will be our ONLY personalized token of memorabilia, and I really wanted something funny to commemorate the insanity of all this. Have not technically placed the order yet, but hopefully today! We are working on it
  10. I also normally wear mineral foundation, but will be wearing "Prescriptives" blended foundation for the wedding - if you go to one of their counters at a department store they can specially blend a shade to exactly match your skin tone! Also, it's great for sensitive/acne prone skin (ME! LOL), and does really great under all lights. My makeup artist also swears by Armani foundation, if that helps at all ~ it is very nice and lightweight. I wore that for our Engagement pics, but now my skin is too sensitive to wear anything other than Prescriptives (not to knock Prescriptives, they do have a very good product). I've heard Mac is very good also, but have never tried it. Hope that helps!
  11. KLila - NICE! Funny about CVS pharm! I can believe it though with Tamiflu being $122 a pop!!! YAY for y'all saving so much on flights! Double yay for the ease of restaurant scheduling at Dreams Glad to see some positive thoughts!!!

Love the spelling of your first name, btw That is terrific that you were able to work out your cruise with wedding in L.C.! Oh my gosh, ladies, 18 days til wedding, 13 days until we leave!!! WHOA!!

  14. Trisha - so far so good on our guest list!! We're forging ahead with "Operation P.V. - Rain or Swine!" haha We're actually in the process of getting "Kustom Koozies" made saying: Rain or Swine! May 24th, 2009 Puerto Vallarta, MX with a cute little double beach chair pic in there somewhere

Do you think it's applicable for relationships in general too, or just marriage? Hi I think it's a great book for anyone to read, but especially good for romantic-like relationships (not just marriage, we started reading about 8 months before our wedding day, still not married yet!). He also has other books on raising emotionally healthy kids, etc. I LOVE THIS MAN!!! I seriously considered moving to Seattle to go work with him - it is all based on SCIENCE, which makes it totally different from other self help books. My FI is from an engineering background/family so it was GREAT for him to read, as well as me with my super analytical mind I think I misspelled his name though - I *think* there are 2 't's in Gottman, not one. I hope you do read it and ENJOY!!! 16. Ok, so now I feel like a total looney ~ Martin is actually rubbing my feet as I'm typing!!!! He said he doesn't know if it's possible but he thinks I have knots in my feet I'm so stressed out! lol! Quote: Originally Posted by Jacilynda WOW lady! YAY!!!! Here are my koozies: I ordered blank koozies, printed my logo and ironed them on: If you like these and give me a saying you want I'll work on a logo for them and make them for you and send them to you as a gift. I love you so much and I love having my personalized things so I don't want you wishing you had them! And I don't want you stressing about them! You let me know! OMG Jacylinda, you are too much!!!!! Yeah, if you could check out those cufflinks that would be cool As for the koozies, you are TOO sweet! But I think ironing the stuff on would be more work than just ordering the design already printed. BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OFFERING!!! I can't tell you how much that means to me, you are just sooooo sweet!!! 17. K, we decided on the collapsible.. BUT, they say first that you ONLY have to rush if >=10 days... but then it says you have to pay $30 if you want it on or before May 19th!? The day we leave!! I wrote them kinda p.o.'ed (not a good day to catch me - lol). Told them no way we will pay an extra $30 for that... if they insist we will NOT order.HMPH! LOL
  18. WHich kind of Koozie should we order? Which do you think people will use more - the pro of the collapsible is obviously that it will save on luggage space, pros of the long neck bottle are I think more people would drink bottles.... hrmmmm, what do you think? Which are they more likely to use?? Collapsible Koozie: Long neck Koozie: I think we're going to do this image: Instead of our names this is what we'll put: Rain or Swine! Puerto Vallarta, MX May 24, 2009 (or maybe just May 2009 so they'll reuse it?)
  19. I'd say go for it - use your real dress as the TTD, I think you'll end up happier with your pics
  20. lol Lisa. I know! But, I have to do most things via the net or when Martin gets home - I actually haven't driven a car in I don't know how long (because of the Lyme). Gosh, all sorts of feelings are welling up inside of me. I don't know what to do to make myself feel better but I know I need to fix it quick because if I don't I'll get sick! Martin's driving me nuts, too. And I'm breaking out. Argh! Amarillis - I like your thought, but I don't really wanna have to take champagne glasses there. We're already going to take a nice bottle of Dom (woohoo, never had it before!) down to our HM in Jamaica. I just really want SOMETHING personalized with our date though That is really bugging me. It's been a long road and I just want to feel like we have something special that is memorable to take. I know it's weird, but that is how I feel! (I'm impossible to deal with right now huh!) Honestly, that is not the stressful part, those 2 things are the FUN things that I've wanted ever since the beginning! I would love doing the shirts, and the koozies would be my "something memorable". OK, ATTN: wedding hormones - you guys need to settle yourselves down now! My doc yesterday actually said to go ahead and take my BC back to back so that I don't start PMSing bad (I never had PMS before Lyme but the past several months it's been intense!)... so yay, I get to skip a period! SO, moving past the koozies and tanks.... is there anything else I'm just missing?

I did get to hang out with my MOH all day on Sat tho which made me really happy - some much needed quality girl time with my best friend Maybe Martin is secretly super bummed about canceling his too? I don't know what's up with him...
  22. Oh and also, I have nothing personalized for my wedding which makes me kinda sad I don't need anything big, but I think those tanks and koozies would at least be something! Ya know?? (K, maybe I'm just feeling a little sorry for myself here and not being realistic? Someone smack me into shape! LOL)
