  1. Definately wait. I'm getting married in April 08 so don't feel bad!! Not a good idea for them to fly that late in their pregnancy, and if you want them to be there then wait. Gives you more time to save anyway
  2. HAAAAHAHAHAHA!! Photoshop her out! That's hilarious!! LMAO. If only I could photoshop my FMIL out of my life, all would be grand!! There's still lots of time before the wedding. Maybe she'll change her mind and get something else. If you are on good terms with her, say something, if not, wait till your mom gets her outfit, THEN say something. Without the evidence that they will be clashing, you have no reason to say something except for the fact it's fugly!
  3. I'd show you mine, but I pretty much thieved everything from Melissa's letter hahaha!!! And she did an AWESOME job on my magnets!!!!! Kisses!!
  4. I haven't been here long so don't think I have much pull, but I would recommend against putting to many off topic forums. For example, Have a look at wedding bells and there's hardly any wedding related forums anymore, it's overrun with too many off topic forums, imo. I don't even bother with "check new posts" there because there's hardly any wedding related posts there! WEDDINGBELLS Message Board Community: Viewing list of forums=
  5. My vote is for #3. I think outside the beading will not be an issue with pictures. I love this dress!!!!!!!!
  6. You know.. the trimspa, hydroxycut, quickslim etc etc.? I'm looking to increase my metabolism and wondering if this stuff is a waste of money or if it really helps. I am working out and watching what I'm eating, so I am not relying on this as a quick fix pill, but an addition to what I'm doing now. Any previous experience?
  7. I don't know actually! I've thieved a couple of things from the vacation package website, describing the rooms and stuff... I don't think it's a huge deal...
  8. I thought if you weren't coverting you couldn't get married by a rabbi?
  9. Something you didn't know... (well what do you know? LOL) Anyway, my big secret... I can't have kids. Well, not without in-virto anyway. We had been trying forever (and I had tried with my ex as well). Finally went in for testing. He checked out ok, so then it was my turn. Did clomid for 8 months (of hell!) then did a dye test, then a laproscopy. Bottom line, my tubes are all messed up with scar tissue. One blocked completely, the other 85%, which gives me less than a 5% chance of getting pregnant on my own. We are ok with this, and have accepted the fact that we will not be parents unless 1. we win the lottery and can do in-vitro or 2. we adopt. As it is right now, we are happy with our lifestyle, love to listen to our friends' nightmare stories about their kids, and enjoy our own kids.. our dogs
  10. same difference, ya, but you don't need to actually go into the thread, there's an arrow on the pages where the threads are listed, like yer user CP, and forum pages

  12. oh, man, you know it's almost time to go when you see these threads!! Just a few days now!! AAAAHHH!!!! Looks awesome!!
  13. As I was married before, we are going the way of a symbolic ceremony, as the DR has the new fee, plus the translation of docs is going to make it more than I care to pay. We are considering the at home marriage "taking care of paperwork" and actually his dad will be there because he is not well to travel. So he gets to see us get married too! I have no problems with this, as we have said to our friends/family that are going that it's a wedding holiday.. just one day out of the 7 is for us, and it's a trip away for them just as much as to see us married. I'm really trying to not make this such a big deal. But every little thing I see on here, I want, and it's so easy to get carried away with ooot bags, monograms, gifts for attendants, gifts for guests..... and and and and... The simpler the better I say (and cheaper!)
  14. ... adding bubbles to the list! Those are really cute!
  15. ooo So cute!!! Wine tasting! What a great idea!
  16. Yet another thing to file in the to do list! Arg!!! They look fantastic!
  17. I don't think many Americans have Cuba high on their list Jules, my girlfriend got married there 3 years ago and although I didn't go, she said it was absolutely amazing!!!!!
  18. that would never fly up here in the (current) blizzard conditions! HAHA
  19. I just ordered the complete 2007 ww package from Ebay. I figure this will be a good starting point to see if I really think it is for me. Funds are tight right now, so I sold some stuff on ebay to justify having the money in my paypal to buy it haha. If things go well and I am seeing results, I'm going to maybe join the online ww, but I think this forum is great, and maybe if I'm accountable to you girls then I have a good chance of seeing it through! I should get the package sometime next week! I'm stoked!
  20. Wow, that is very impressive!! I WANT one!!! (i.e I don't NEED one, I WANT it!) There are so many good ideas on this site it's driving me insane! (and broke!)

We have tons of people saying "OMG I so want to go" Well want to go and putting down the cash are two totally different things. Show me the money LOL
  22. I dunno, it's weird. It's like a given around here that you have a buck and doe. This is a pretty small town (20,000) so you put it in the paper for like a month at least before you have it, so people Chris went to public school with will show up just to say hi and meet me and stuff. We have been to countless Buck n doe's for people we barely know. LOL! We are pretty active in the community, so we expect at least 100 people to show up to this thing! It is a good opportunity for people we know but aren't close to to give their well wishes (by getting drunk on cheap drinks! I know.. it's bizarre!) I'm a city girl, so what do I know? Just go with it I guess! My girlfriend is the master at organizing these things. She did one for her sister last year and she CLEARED $2500 cash for her! Pretty crazy! Sorry for the hijack!
  23. Wow that sucks. I guess you chalk it up to.. she's not that good of a friend I guess?! For the life of me I can't figure why someone would say yes to something then back out (especially so many times!) She seems to have some issues
