  1. Court, I was looking for some Loteria cards on a google search when an ebay site came up. She has the coolest stuff! I ordered a Day of the Dead tote bag for Maggie. You should look at it Courtney, it is really cute...if you are into skelletons and such. I hope she sees the post! Lizzy PS: love, love, love your engagement and other photos. That little man of yours has a killer smile, and you look so pretty! Whoohoo!

Welcome Tracy! Take advantage of theknowledge that abounds in this forum. Just an example would be, Mikki is the Queen of Techie's, Nurse Sarah is the reigning Queen of DIY, although there are a few Lady's In Waiting who are attempting to overthrow our beloved Queen. Then there is Heidi who is the Queen of Graphics. Queen Heidi and Lady Robin will be able to help you with any problems with avatars or siggies. The rest of us are here to help in any other way we can. Oh, and our lovely Host Tami is a destination wedding specialist in travel. She has her own travel agency and has helped many of our brides. She can be reached by sending her a PM (private message). My specialty is asking the brides for help and also I am one of three mothers of the bride (I think only 3) on the forum. Any help we can give is there for the asking. Lizzy
  3. Laura, I found a site I think you will love! Her stuff will go with your wedding shoes!!! eBay Store - Novelty Creations Handmade Totes: Medium Size Totes, Skulls, Goth, Biker, Small Totes Purses I found a Day of the Dead, La Catrina ` Muertos ~ Tote Bag for Maggie for Christmas! Let me know what you think.
  4. Becky, welcome to the forum. You are going to get so many ideas from our brides, you may want to buy a few more notebooks for your files. Any help we can give is what we do for one-another. Happy planning!
  5. Hi, and welcome to the forum! You will both love everyone on this forum. They are all so helpful with their ideas and experiences, as well as advise. Ask any questions and you will get a ton of responses. Best wishes on your forthcoming wedding!
  6. Shelley, they are terrific! You did an awsome job on them. Now, you will need to write out each step so the other brides can borrow some of your tricks. That is if you want to share... Really beautiful invites!
  7. Hi Nadia, it sounds as if you are in the wedding industry, right? Congratulations on your marriage! We look forward to having you be a part of our little group.
  8. Court, today is the most nerve-wracking, after this you will be home free. Congratulations on the new job and don't be a stranger!
  9. Kelly, we will all be thinking about you tomorrow! Have a terrific time! Lizzy
  10. Christine, beautiful pictures! Matt did a great job. Of course when you have a beautiful, happy bride, and a big happy groom, how could he miss? Thank you for letting us take a look.
  11. Hello, try Ana y Jose Cabanas. It is very nice. Just below Tulum so not party central. They have a Beach Club a few minutes away from the Cabanas. This is where my daughter's wedding and reception will be. I am sorry I cannot find the link to the Beach House. Maybe you could find it through a google search.
  12. Jules, sorry I was off the forum when you posted. I was actually checking on the bags and thinking about carlymcmullen. She is using the hibiscus as a main element in her wedding. I thought I would tell her about them if they are still available. Thanks for checking! PS: has carly been online lately?
  13. Jules, would you ask her about the bags? Thanx
  14. Annie, I wish I could help you. Maggie and Tadd are having cupcakes instead of a wedding cake. Somewhere there is a picture that Tammy (host) posted. The picture is what Maggie has asked the baker to duplicate. Which reminds me, I need to order the cupcake liners b4 I forget again! I do know that a some of the girls have gotten the Leche cakes. My granddaughter's mom is Mexican and for all of the birthday parties she orders this cake. Not one of my faves, but people who enjoy cake seem to really like it. Hope someone else can help you. If I find the post w/the photo I will send it to you. Here it is! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...pcake-pic.html
  15. Thanks Christine for doing that...we shall wait and see
  16. Hey Melissa, how are you doing? We hardly hear from you anymore...miss you! Just wondering if your bags are gone? Let me know, Lizzy
  17. Hi, sorry, I just saw your post tonight. Have you sold the sunscreen yet? I would like it if you haven't. Thanks, Lizzy
  18. Annie, our families in Glengarry are MacDonald MacGillis Vandandaique dit Gadbois Gadbois just to name a few! You can see that there are French Canadians there too. Crazy world! XX1/2
  19. Jaime, you are adorable no matter what you do, but I must admit to a liking of the dark hair. Course I am a brunette, well right now it is sort of eggplant and black-cherry mixed. How are you feeling these days? Did your other best friend have her littl boy yet? I may have missed that thread. Anyway, great cut and color!
  20. Hi Sol, I'm Maggie's mom of Maggie and Tadd. I have found quite a few paper lanterns at the Dollar Tree. You can't beat the price! Good luck! Lizzy
  21. Have you checked out Ana y Jose? It is a really laid back place. Certainly nowhere near the nightlife of Playa. My daughter is being married at their beach club which is about 15 minutes away from Dreams, where we are staying. They have everything divided up to area. Lots of photos and details as well as prices. Most of the places from Tulum on south do not have airconditioners. A couple of the Canas have a large enough generator to supply air, but most don't. It is a very eco-friendly area. I think it is just lovely. If you have any other questions, I would contact Jason (Lambert). He and Karen are members of our forum. Jay has quite a lot of info on this particular area. In fact, they were just married there in the beginning of July! Hope this helps you,
  22. Hi, we are getting excited. I'm trying to figure out how to do a template for her hang tags. She needs one set for the OOT Bags and another for the Pashminas, and maybe something for the fans. I used to think I was pretty good on the puter, but now I think I have lost my touch (LOL). So I think you girls should just change your plans and work around Maggie's date, haha. Too bad, though. We will miss Annie by a couple of months and Amy by way too long! Thanks for responding. Oh, Annie, are you a Scottish lass? We have some Canadian Roy ancestors from Glengarry, Ontario. I think it was spelled ROI back then. Later,
  23. Tara, I'm so sorry I hijacked you. It wasn't intentional
  24. Ann, if you know where Spirit and Spirit Kids are, it is only a few doors down, towards Walgreens. It is right across France from Caribou or Starbucks, or whichever. Grethen House is a really cute upscale clothing store. Mary is the owner, and is Tadd's mom. Tadd runs the business end and Maggie helps out when needed. Maggie runs the store in NE. You know, we really should have a get-together for the Twin Cities girls. Meet for a drink or a glass of wine, or even dinner. I would really love to do this. Anyone else interested?
