  2. I finally worked out last night for the first time since last Monday. Ran 2 miles and did abs and core on my wedding workout video. Woo Woo - Go me!
  3. OMG!! I gave invites to the 4 guys I work for...only for $$, of course! They make tons of $$ so I figured - they get an invite - they give me $$. WELL it back fired on me!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG TIME!! One of them and his wife booked their trip a few weeks ago. I was like WTF!?!?!?! Y'all are going?? Wow - that's great....NOT!!!! I guess that's what I get!
  4. I like the idea of a charity registery! We didn't want to register either, but as you stated, people want to buy you things regardless of what you tell them. We went ahead and registered to avoid getting "crap" also.
  5. Welcome to the forum, Cathryn!! Happy Planning!!
  6. OMG - This thread won't go away!!! It wants me to say that I haven't worked out since Monday. There - I said it! I suck!
  7. Such a great, great story!! I'm all teary eyed!! SOOOOO, where's the pics?? (haha! TammyM - I beat you)

  11. Carms! There's tons of great info on the site. Happy Planning!!
  12. I always thought I was a 36B until I got measured at VS to find out I was a 36C - - woo woo!! Not that anyone cares.....haha!
  13. 34C for me too =) I'm getting cups sewn into my dress also. I don't want to mess with pulling at my dress and bra the entire time I have it on.
  14. This is just my opinion - - The Royal is the only place that I've ever attended a DW at. As far as the beach being private - it's not - so if that's the deal breaker, then I would rule this resort out. Yes, there were people standing around watching the wedding. BUT, if you have a good photog then they should be able to crop things out of the photos - like people or volleyball nets... As for as the hotel WC accomodating the bride, she was completely happy with the assistance. Now, I'm not sure if the same one is there... Also, we had aprox. 50 people in our group - ages 5 - 60 - the majority being between 25 - 35. We had THE BEST TIME!! We LOVED the fact that we could walk to all of the bars and shops from the hotel w/o getting a cab. We LOVED the hot tubs in the rooms! We LOVED the food! We would def. go back. This is just me talking about my one and only experience at a DW.
  15. Congrats Melissa Can't wait to see lots-o-pics!!
  16. Anny - Those are too cute!! How are you going to hang them, since they are all individual?
  17. Yes, we were right on the corner, on the 2nd floor. I would definitely recommend this hotel! The food was awesome! I agree with Rebecca....the wedding and reception was not very private, but that was o.k. with us.
  18. I have no clue - sorry! But when you find out...I'd love to know =)
  19. They did not do any other group events other than the reception. The reception was on the beach, with an open bar, and a 5 course meal. They had a DJ and a dance floor....and a mariachi (sp?) band for an hour - at the begining of the wedding and in between the wedding and reception. Our group is easliy entertained - which is great for me! So, everything she had (which required very little planning on her end) was perfect!
  20. We're planning a pedi/lunch day, the Saturday before we leave for our trip. I plan on giving them their gifts then. I'm probably going to give them a monogram canvas tote...and something else that I have no clue what will be. Also giving them the same OOT we give everyone else when they arrive at the hotel.
  21. Out Of Town Bags We are doing these (with our monogram - of course) for everyone - including the single males of the group. We are putting items in, that will work for both males and females.
  22. My FI and I bought a house in June of last year. We decided that he would give me all his money, with the exception of running $$, and I would pay all the bills. We merged our money as soon as we started living together. I would have a hard time with someone that wants to keep their $$ separate and not tell me things they buy. Having it together works well for us. As far as cleaning, cooking and laundry. I do it all. He does physical labor all day also, and is tired when he gets home. Don't get me wrong, he will clean the kitchen (If I ask him too) with no compliants. He also folds his own socks. That's ALL the laundry I will let him do. He would totally ruin anything that he washes....I'd rather do it myself.
  23. But kinda funny!!! I've always had the grooms cake in addition to the wedding cake at a traditional wedding reception.
