  1. I know how you girls love pics. Here are some non-pro pics from the wedding and also some fun pics from the trip. Enjoy~ Here's pics from our legal ceremony.
  2. You girls are doing a great job ~ WTG!! OMG I'M A HUGE FAT COW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't worked out since the week before we left for Mexico. I really need to get back in the swing of things....maybe I'll start Monday...lol!
  3. We had our wedding over by the scuba shop, then the reception outside at the El Patio. It was perfect! They set up tiki tourches around the patio area. I would definitely wait until you get there to pick the wedding area. Sandra or Landy will walk you around the property and show you the best places. Seriously I stressed about the whole "wait until you get here to pick everything", but it's really the way to go. We had 30 guest, and we all went to the Disco after the wedding. It was a BLAST!! Also, if I'm thinking correctly the Friday beach party was over by the time our reception was over at 10:30....but I may be wrong.
  4. Not sure if Dreams Tulum is the same as Dreams Cabo, but we had an iPod docking station as an alarm clock. People that did not have that, had cd players/alarm clock.

How do the DJ/Announcements work? I am so used to the traditional US weddings where the DJ functions as the "host" (introductions, etc.). Did the DJ speak English or did you have someone from the wedding party make all the announcements? Also, did you bring all of your own music, and if so, did you bring an Ipod or CDs? Thanks!!! Laura Our DJ spoke English and did do all the annoucments for us as far as the first dances and toasts. We brought an iPod and they were able to play all our music off of it for the dances, and dinner music. They did a great job!! They used a little of their own music and some of our guests brought some cd's that they were happy to use as well. We had our ceremony songs on our iPod too that Sandra hooked up somehow. The music was perfect.
  7. Welcome Laura! I just got married at Dreams Tulum. If you have any questions, please let me know. Congrats and Happy Planning!!

  9. Hey there - I'm going to see if I can paste my shutterfly link here....let's try it! http://share.shutterfly.com/action/w...y3bslw&notag=1
  10. I got mine done at J's Tailor and Dry Cleaning in Preston Center. I can't think of the street name right now. If you are going down Northwest Hwy from North Park Mall (towards the Toll Way), take a left on Douglas, and take a left on the street after Sherry Lane. They're on the right by Tony & Guy. Their prices are very good. I paid a total of $100 for alterations and bra inserts.
  11. I don't know either, but I love your siggy pic!! BTW when I was at Dreams Tulum last week, I printed some of your pics that you took for ideas on hair and aisle set up's and your name was on the pic. Sandra said, "Oh you know Sol....I LOVE HER =)" She said she will be attending your wedding....
  12. Oh that looks cute Jaime!! I love the highlights!!
  13. I used one suitcase for all of my OOT bags, and I put a note on the top that said, "These Items Are For A Wedding". They never even opened my suitecase. Also Sun Country has raised their check in weight from 50 lbs to 70 lbs. That saved me!! Here's some pics of what was in my bags: Items: Imodium (everyone used pretty much the first night) Tylenol (everyone used theirs) gum tic tacs bandaids (these came in handy to most everyone) polysporin lotion sun block (everyone used theirs) body wash candle matches koozies water guns water balls flip flop note pads gummy flip flops chap stick (everyone used theirs) hand sanitizer shell pic holder color books, ring pops, glow necklaces and braclettes and colors for the kids. Although everyone wanted the ring pops!! I think that's about it. If I had it to do over again I probably wouldn't do the candles & matches. I thought people would use them in their rooms to make them smell good, but I don't think anyone did.
  14. Has anyone ever used this website to do their name change. I'm hesitating.... https://www.missnowmrs.com/default.aspx
  15. Great review Laura!! Your wedding looks like it turned out perfect!! I love the parasols! Mine were in the aisle. James and I just watched the video and it looks like some people were trying to use them, but one of our guest took charge and was taking them away...LOL...and puting them back. I LOVE your TTD photos!!!!

Not me, I was like "do it again....do it again..."

I already have my dress, but I was looking for something light and airy and dance-able to change into later on. That dress was perfect! Too bad it looked terrible on me... I just didn't fill out the top right and looked like a board So, having tried it on myself, I am even more impressed with how perfect it looked on you. You hubby is quite the looker himself. He isn't a cop by chance, is he? The bald head is usually a pretty good indicator. (My FI is a cop). Anyway, I love it. So sexy! Love the BM dresses too... they all coordinate so well, but I love that they are all a little different. Beautiful! Congrats! I can't imagine you not looking fab in everything you try on!! Thanks for the compliment! That's so sweet!! That dress was so light and airy!! I loved it! No my hubby is a landscaper. The no hair thing works perfect for him since he's out in the heat all day.
  18. Here's a few more of my favs, then I'll post the Shutterfly link after they're done. My adorable nephews that were angels during the wedding. After it was over they told me that man (the preacher) talked too long... Me and my bro The hand off from my dad to James. I decided to let my bro walk me half way down the aisle, then my dad met us at the chairs. It was a last minute decision that I believe my bro was very happy about....me NOT SO happy about his hat line on his forehead...haha!

But I am sure you need some time to rest The photog we used was the one provided by the hotel. We knew we did not want to spend alot on photos. That was not a priority for us, so he was perfect and great to work with. We got 41 5x7's, a photo album and the CD with 189 pics on it all for around $400. Worked out perfect for us. But you know everyone is different. I think he did an amazing job for the $$. I'm downloading more....
  21. Well I'm going to call my TA tomorrow and let her know what happened and see if there is anything further she can do. I filled out 2 different comment forms - both 3 pages long. Yes, that's what else I got to do on my honeymoon....sit in the security office for hours at a time =(
