I would not recommend destinationweddings.com, I don't think they're that helpful and they don't really do anything special for you, most girls here that looked into them decided against them, but there may be some people that have done well with them. Jason, if you're looking for budget friendly photographers in cancun you should check out, claudia rodriguez, cancun studios, & I'm trying to remember the name of the other one, petra mauras, I think. there is some info on all three on this site, in different posts, and I've gotten pricing from all 3 and they were very reasonable. I still haven't decided on mine, but may go with one of these 3.

I'm going to register, only so I can give people guidance. we really don't need a lot, we already live together. We just feel bad, we don't want people that are spending money to come to the wedding to feel like they have to get us anything, we know they're spending lot to come to mexico.

I don't think anyone is paying for their guests, I know we're not. But I think it will be tough to do for $5K, is that including everything? Or just your travel? I guess depending on how long you are staying and what you are planning to do for a reception, you could keep the costs lower. Tell us more about your plans and maybe we can help.

jonathan she has different prices depending on where the wedding is. I thought it included an album or maybe it was just prints, I'm not sure.

Hi Andrea! believe me, we understand your frustration, we've all been there. I am getting married at dreams cancun in october. The first thing you need to do is decide on your location & date, you can't really book anything else until then. Also, have you looked at the wedding packages dreams offers to see if one of those will fit your needs. I totally understand about paying for everything yourself and being on a budget, that's exactly our situation. As for airfare that fluctuates, but your TA should be able to give you a rough idea of airfare so that you know if its in your price range and also be able to tell you when the best time to purchase your airfare is too. Sarah, I've heard that Bose docking station is phenomenal,thats what I want to get. we are having a smaller group as well and thats part of the reason I don't see the need for a DJ. So, if you are bringing your own stereo and IPOD are you going to have to pay any fees for that. I know they charge a fee if you use their setup, but it sounds like you're using only your stuff, is that correct? Are you renting a microphone? Sorry for all the questions!

I am considering bringing our IPOD and using their speaker system to play that through, but I'm have to look into this a little more, I'm also hesitant to book certain things because I don't know how many people will actually end up going, and that will make a difference with some of my decisions.

I know it can be overwhelming with so many choices, I think that was the most frustrating part of planning for me was choosing a resort, without going first to visit and investigate. I am a dreams cancun bride to be, so I'm not much help with moon palace, although I did hear that they do a great job with weddings and I did look into them when I was searching, but please let me know if I can help with anything else!

Christine those are beautiful!! My daughter was a flower girl in my sisters wedding and we found her dress at marshalls for $50, $15 is a great find!! Its true you never know where you'll find something you can use for your wedding!

Glenda, one thing I noticed with some of the dresses I tried that when I looked them up on the websites some of them had jackets or sleeves or whatever, that made me almost not recognize the dress. Could that maybe be the problem with your dress, maybe on the website they have it with different sleeves or a jacket, or something?

I lost 2.4 this week, which brings my total to 9 lbs! Yay! 1 more pound to 10!! Oh, it has been such a long damn week! Keep up the good work girls!!
