  1. Adeybaby, I am very excited to be getting a WC. I am so freaked about the little details and yes, I want them all, hehe! I spoke with my mom and SIL and both agreed we should hire them so now I'm just waiting for her to email the proposal. Jaime- I have not communicated with Erika at all. I've been at a stand still and not that we will most likely hire Priscilla, I figure she can f/u with Erika. Plus Priscilla did mention that Erika is not a permenant replacement. (I think I heard her correctly.) So I don't want to go through it all with Erika then have to do it again with the new person.
  2. Woohooo!!! Jessica, you have amazing taste, I can't wait to see how your wedding turns out! Good luck and congrats!
  3. LOL, Edna! Well, Pricsilla called me last week, both Hans and I were able to speak with her. She's supposed send me a proposal/sample of prices and pics, of weddings she has done/ or is doing. So we are most likely jumping on the band wagon and hiring her! I know, I was trying very hard to avoid an outside WC, but since Marco left, the situation with my cousin, I felt I needed help and Hans agreed. Plus, I was afraid of planning the ceremony at the Church with no real contact. We still cannot book ugh!
  4. My brother suffers from this Paula, I feel so bad for you. He's had his back go out several times, once I was there and literally had to drag him to the tub b/c he could not move. He uses heating pads too, but tries to go to therapy when he can. He says the massages help.
  5. lol, I guess he wants to make it "official" before you tell everyone! But do your friends know you went on a site visit?
  6. Why is he having you wait Edna?? Does he want to give you the ring first??

  10. That is horrible! Sometimes hotels have safes at the Reception Area. I wonder if those would be safer to use??

  12. Hi L.A. Ladies, the Gown sale is coming to L.A. next week. I'll be there, hopefully to find a gown I love at a great price. Here's some more details. Quote: WHO: The Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation will bring 2,000 beautiful, name brand and designer wedding gowns, donated by manufacturers, designers, bridal shops, and individuals to Los Angeles brides-to-be through its Brides Against Breast Cancer charity wedding gown sale. Dresses range in price from $99 to $1300, including designer gowns valued at up to $15,000, sizes 4 to 24. Most dresses are at least 50% off. Dress donations will also be accepted at the event. WHAT: The Brides Against Breast Cancer charity wedding gown sale is a benefit for the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. The organization grants wishes for stage 4, terminal breast cancer patients, providing a special time for "making memories" with their families. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the three-day sale will directly benefit the organization's "Dream Fulfillment Fund." Last November the organization suffered a major set back when their truck and $3 million dollars worth of wedding gowns were stolen just four days before their West Hollywood event. Through donations from bridal manufacturers and an outpouring of support from Los Angeles residents the foundation went from 20 dresses in the local collection to 1500. At stake were 12 Christmas wishes from people with not much time to live. "It was really the LA community that granted these wishes for terminal breast cancer patients. Through LA's gracious support we raised over $106,000 and granted every one of those holiday wishes, " said LA Chairperson Suzanne Appel.
