1. They planned an outside wedding in Washington in April. Which is one of the most wet months of the year.

2. They had it in the back yard of the parents home, (which is fine) but they used PAPER for the aisle.. on grass.. white paper on grass

3. They had a yellow and pink balloon arch where they were going to stand.

4. When it started raining (SHOCK) they had to move everthing into the garage. There were not enough room for the chairs and the people. So they had to squish 50 people into the garage and everyone had to stand.

5. The balloon arch was too tall for the garage so it was loppsided and crooked

6. They had ONE big Subway sandwich and a sheet cake from Wal mart to feed 50+ people

7. The only seating they had in the garage was 2 of their old couches that they covered in white flowered sheets
OMG this can not be a real wedding!!!!!! i'm all for saving money, but ONE subway sandwichhuh.gif and a paper aisle?? holy crap!

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?!?! hahahahah oooh dear!!

My cousin and I crashed a wedding (her bro's friends wedding, we weren't invited but we came for the dance as we were from a diff province) in Nova Scotia this summer...and at midnight they brought out pizza for the midnight lunch...it was cold...so we asked why it was cold...they said, it is left overs from dinner! heheheh I don't think it's a terrible thing, but it's so funny, never been to a wedding where the meal served was delivery pizza and the midnight snack was cold left over pizza from dinner! hehe

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
