I think I would rather have some of the options you said - but not sure what I can do.  Any thoughts from any other brides?  Thank you SO much for your help!!!

      StephandChad,

If you have the luxury menu, you can pick items from the regular/romance menu..we picked the salads and the soup from the romance menu..and the rests from the luxury menu.

Just wanted to let you guys know that if you are not to fussy about some of the menu choices you can always request something else. I didn't like and of the salad choices on the menu that we could choose from so I just asked if they could substitute a ceasar salad. It was soooo good, and the presentation was amazing.

Expedia and yahoo travel had the best prices when we booked our packages....but Wendy Hicks, our TA matched all of the prices for us, so we booked directly with her, and still got the cheaper pricing, rather than booking with an online company, inwhich you risk having you reservations bumped...

                  Labebita,

I booked with the whole package from AirCanada Vacation, not sure if it is true in the US, but in Canada, the airliners deals are usually much cheaper than book the hotel and the flight + tranfers separately.

                  Ok Girls...

I finally got the USB key from Ivan Luckie for my underwater cenote TTD pics, for those who are still "hesitating" , I strongly recommend it.  It was an unique experience, and there is no cenote in our backyard!

ok girls, I finished my album on Blurb.com, the nice thing about Blurb is you can share your album online, print it in ultra professional quality paper with linen hardcover and dust cover (what a nice coffee table book to collect some dust!), and download it as ibook for iPad and iPhone.

                      Hi Ladies,

Have any of you had resort issues with the wedding day timeline?

Here is what I want but the off-site coordinator is telling me that I will have to pay an additional $400 to have a 30 minute break within the timeline:

4:30-5:30 (1hr) gazebo ceremony (Royal is telling me I only get 30 minutes unless I am Catholic!!)

                      5:30-6:30 appetizers cocktails

6:30-7pm guest break to go back to room, change, freshen up, etc (Royal wants $400 for this break)

                      7pm-10pm private ballroom reception

10pm-11pm paying for extra hour of reception

I paid a ton for the Luxury wedding and am just so disappointed that they are trying to squeeze so much out of me when they know that I am committed to the resort now...my wedding is Dec 4, 2011. Plus, they are giving me a hard time about a 1 hour ceremony saying I only get that long if I'm Catholic.

I just paid my full fee yesterday so now I can work with the on-site coordinator. Do you ladies find the on-site coordinator more flexible?

I hope you are all doing better than me with the planning!
