We are meeting with Prisar (Hector & Priscilla) on Dec. 17th. I will let you know how that goes. Edna has already met with them I believe and seemed to really like them.
Mariama,
we are using Prisar for our wedding and as Jaime said we really like working with them...pinkie.gif

Hi,

Like Edna and Jaime, I am also using Prisar (Priscilla & Hector) and though all of my communication has been via email & phone, I'm very happy with the service they've provided. I believe they have been able to negotiate better pricing for me than if I was on my own, plus I wanted the convenience of having someone else stay on top of scheduling and handling payments for me. Not to mention they have ongoing relationships with the vendors they use (caterers, florists, djs, photogs, etc.) so I have to think that they know which ones deliver the best (thru trial & error) for the budget you have. They have never made me feel like the budget I have is not workable. Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

I have to be honest I see a lot of shock on the responses, but my FI and I were planning a budget of 15K, then once we added in photographer, wedding bands, travel, villa stay, extra spending money while there for a week we are looking at 25K. Which also shocked us, but my girlfriend is getting married in NYC for 20K, but she isn't getting anything she wants she has to follow strick budget guidelines and cut a lot of what she wants.

adding travel and such will add up. Remember you only do this once and so make it count but don't let it break the bank. You can have an amazing wedding in PV for 10K, I have seen it done personally.

Cheers

I am also working with Prisar (Hector and Pricilla) honestly they have been wonderful to work with, they will work with your budget and now that we've been working with them it is worth every penny we are spending. They are very accessible and very promt to respond to us, I will recomend them in a heart bit. And they are very budget conscious. PM me if you have any questions.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
