How often do you and FI/DH ...

OK Im so glad Im not the only one to put once a month! lol With all the job/wedding/home stress as well as having a 20 month old in our bed half the time its pretty much the last thing on our minds!

Not as often as FI would like. Maybe once a month. We both work long hours and I am always too exhausted. I do feel bad for him.

Plus, the medication I take completely kills my sex drive. Completely.

2-3x per week, usually on the weekends...used to be that per day, but then we moved in together, and that died down...i'm WAY too exhausted during the week, but he doesn't understand that...he goes to be w/ me around 12 and i wake up at 5:30 but he wakes up at 8:30...then he wonders why i'm so tired!? so he tries during the week, but to no avail

So, have any of our teachers noticed the nice neat little bell curve we have going here? Isn't that amazing?! I guess we are a big enough population here to be predictable as a group now!

 

I think it's interesting that we have just as many ladies on here that say they want it more than their FI/DH as we have that say the opposite. Also, the factor of in-house children/visitors/animals definitely plays a role for us too.

Well after reading your responses I need to let my FH know that he is one lucky SOB by getting it 3-4 times a week!! This maybe TMI but he acts all sad when my "time of the month" comes like HE is suffering and not me.

That's pretty much where we're at right now too. We're both kind of depressed lately, and I've been sick for so long which definitely adds to it. It's been rough, and we've both been going through quite a bit personally and within our relationship. We're really trying to figure things out tho and get back on the Love Boat (OMG that sounded corny!!! hahaha)

Kash & Jaime - I have totally been there before. That is a sucky place to be. I remember thinking, god, if I could just DO IT and stop wallowing in my sorrow, maybe things would get better. But somehow something always got in the way, or we argued about it instead of doing it...blah, blah, blah. Anway, point here is - seriously, sometimes you've just got to do it. Drop everything & do it. Momentum can build from there. Good luck!

I have not read anyone else's posts yet, but I must tell you that I wish we had it at least every other day. But, he is tired and complains about his commute (which is crappy and long, 3 hours a day), so we only have it once a week. Well, I would say its about 4 times a month, sometimes twice in one week, sometimes not at all in one week, so I am going to say 4 times a month.

 

I really wish it was more often. In the beginning it was at least twice a day and about 4 times a day on the weekend. That lasted for the first year, then we went down to about once a day, then everyother day, now only once a week. I am a little scared of what the future has in store for us, at this rate, we will never have it. lol

 

We are probably going to be TTC in November, so it will have to happen more then. Although he keeps telling me it will happen the first time we try. I think he thinks he is some kinda super hero or something.

We average once a week, sometimes it's less, sometimes it's more, and we both have had our highs/lows in terms of sex drive throughout the relationship 3 1/2 years). Right now I'm coming out of a funk that I was in so I'm all revved up, but I've been traveling a lot and we're both working out so that's tiring, and he's freaking out about his work. We are both looking forward to the honeymoon as a time to really get back on track. When we're both firing on all cylinders it'll probably jump back up to 2-3xs a week which would be nice because I honestly think having more sex makes me want more sex and feel better about myself and sex is fun.
