Thanks KWandCM, you are too kind, i'm working with my FI now to change some of the color, it looks really great already with some minor change ( i will post it when finalise). I highly recommend the designer Secret Diary from South Africa, their price range i found to be reasonable and really professional lower than most etsy vendor that i found and do not have minimum number of print (we only need 30 invites). If you need more info just let me know. I list below their website. http://www.secretdiary.co.za/

I'm a 2013 bride, but I started planning in 2011. In some ways, it's great to have the extra time, but for me, I felt the need to plan everything before we even announced our engagement and dove in too deep, too soon. I burnt myself out on planning, feeling like there was nothing left to do for a while, and then felt overwhelmed when I later returned to planning and realized just how much was left in the "closer to the wedding" pile of tasks. I think the best thing would be to pace yourself and to have a drawn out timeline for planning that you can refer to. I wasn't very organized in the beginning, because it seemed like I had all the time in the world, and now I am wondering what happened to my carefree, no stress wedding?

DIY projects are especially time consuming, so it helps if you can pace those out, working on just 1 or 2 projects at a time. Don't follow my lead by starting several projects when you have a long time to go, then failing to finish them up in a timely manner. Now that I'm close to my date, I am rushing to get all this half-done stuff completed. So wish I had completed one project at a time, with a timeline to keep me starting new ones as I finished previous jobs.

Getting married in May 2014, and started planning in Feb 2013.  We're doing a destination wedding in Mexico at the Gran Bahia Principe.  I wanted all my friends to be there so the sooner you start planning and sending out STD and things like that, the more time they have to save money and get time off work!!!  I'm excited...I just found my dress!!  My mom was in town for a week and I was really hoping to find it cause I wanted to have her here to enjoy the expierence with me!!!

My date is 2/14/2014 at The Barcelo Beach Resorts in Riviera Maya. We have about a year left. I think the timing is perfect. Not too far off, but just enough time for everyone to plan and save for the trip and for me to get everything done and planned without stressing. :):)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
