  1. This is the wording for my passport invite, not too formal. "Some people touch us for a moment, and some for a season … and some remain with us for a lifetime In each other, we have found the one with whom we will spend the rest of our lives loving, honoring and cherishing. Please join us in celebrating as we exchange marriage vows on Saturday, the nineteenth of July Two thousand and fourteen, at half past six in the evening Location... Reception to follow."
  2. I have a bit of dilemma, we have a small wedding - 22 guests; I don't want to be too formal in the invitation (except for family members). I have no clue yet how to write their names. For the inner envelope: Should it be: 1. If married couples - have the same family name Wife's fine name "and" Husband's first name then their Family Name e.g : Judy and John Smith 2. If married couples - have different family name Wife Full name "and" husband's full name e.g Judy Smith and Jack Johnson 3. If single person, but invite extra guest e.g Judy Smith and Guest 4. For more formal guest Mr. and Mrs. Sir Name e.g Mr and Mrs. Smith For the outter envelope, I will just write in the informal way (no Mr. and Mrs.) How's about a family with a kid, how do I address the kid's name? What does everyone do for your invitation? Do you think what I am writing is correct? Thanks
  3. Just wonder what everyone does during the wedding date. I haven't fully organised with the wedding planner yet, but so far I think my wedding will be like this (we have 22 guests, so I cut down lots of traditional things). We will do formal shoot a day after so no cocktail hour etc.; I am not sure yet when we will cut the cake and do the first dance. - 2 hrs before wedding: getting ready - Guests arrive 15 mins or so before the ceremony - Ceremony : 20 mins approximately - Taking photos with the guests, group shots: 30 mins - Reception starts - Short speeches, toast - Dinner for about 1hr - Cake cutting - First Dance - Dancing
  4. We received photos of our mock invitation today, I'm really happy with the result. The designer is from South Africa, Secret Diary, I highly recommend them (except for the fact that tthey are from South Africa, and we are in Melbourne, Australia so courier shipping is very expensive). I listed their website below if anyone interested: http://www.secretdiary.co.za/
  5. I bought my Augusta Jones Lucillie two months ago. Cant wait to wear her, she's perfect. :-)
  6. I received our guestbook today from etsy vendor TotallySalinda today. I'm so in love, the parcel was lost, so she replaced the new one. I'm going to use the white card stock provided to print out the guestbook pages. and having a polaroid camera for the guests to take pictures and instant attach to the book. 1827.guestbookpage.pdf
