This is my dress I think, I really want to put the deposit down now, but waiting to get into shape so that I wont order wrong size. :-) This is not me, from another bride.

I'm planning to send our invite out no later than July 2014, and RSVP will be due date to give final headcount for the venues; but I will send emails relating to group accomodation before the RSVP dates, as most of our guests who I think will come have already reply confirming by emails back to us. :-)

I sent an email linking to our wedding website - in October 2012, our wedding is in July 2014 just to let everyone knows the location, time; no STDs. I'm going to send the invitation out in July 2013, and our wedding is in July 2014. Super early, but hey, they should book flight and accomodation 6 months in advance; it's peak holiday season. I think I will sedn everyone reminders closer to the 6 months deadline. :-) Have anyone decided on their wedding dresses yet? :-)

Hi bncandi, we chose not to have wedding parties, minimal decoration, no DJ, small wedding cake etc, for me it is cheaper to organise overseas than in Australia (and gosh, everything is ridiculous expensive here), and DW is an excellent excuse to do anything but traditional.

I'm checking with our hotel owner to see when is the due date for group booking discount, we will make it 2 weeks before that.

Thanks Igerry. Yes, I think I will do the RSVP due date 5 months out, otherwise it will be too much stress for me to organise everything in 3 months before the wedding.

Oh, how's ecxiting!!! I must be thrilled if someone RSVP that early (our BM also rsvp-ed through our website). I cant wait to send our invitation out - I keep on changing my mind and details.

Thank you for all the advices, this is a great thread. I have decided to cut down in decoration, and have a smaller cake just for pictures, keeping the desert (we thought that we didn't want desert and having wedding cake instead). Book earlier hair appoinment, and stay with my FI the night before the wedding. Definitely will do the Ipod, and will make a separate list for each.
