I too was torn between Dreams Cancun and NOW Jade for this very reason! Jade just seemed more modern and new but I liked the location of Dreams Cancun, I believe it is right in the hotel zone & I LOVED the gazebo. I went back and forth for a while. If you know your group will be wanting to explore Cancun and it's nightlife, I think I would suggest Dreams Cancun. I ended up going with Now Jade b/c most of my guest are only staying a short amount of time and most say the don't even want to leave the resort. I know this post was absolutely no help for you to make a decision but just thought I'd share! LOL... Good Luck with which ever you chose. I don't think you can go wrong!

I am currently deciding between having my wedding at Now Jade and Dreams Cancun. I love the look of Now Jade, but love the location of Dreams Cancun( swimming with Dolphins!). Is transportation, i.e. taxi difficult to get to go into the nightlife area of Cancun. I heard Dreams Cancun was undergoing a renovation soon( this would be perfect), but I have not received a confirmation from the hotel. Any assistance provided is greatly appreciated.
62 guest booked, plus Bride and Groom!

Has anyone had their reception (& possibly a DJ/dance) on the beach??? That is our plan, but I would love to hear from someone else planning to do this or someone that has??? Also, I uncovered a new cost for this...recommended lighting package for $350+tax. Just a heads up. ;-)

Hi Everyone,
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing with the wedding planning with NOW Jade. Yesterday we decided on this hotel. Now we are working on how we should invite guests and what package to go with. We first thought the Moments packet would be good as we wanted it simple, go with the buffet and maybe rent out a private room. No bridesmaids, etc....Than we thought they came all this way a dinner might be more appropriate. Has anyone gone with just the eternity package and been happy with it?? We want to kind of keep the costs within reason and not spend much on extra such as a DJ, etc....or extra decorations. Does anyone suggest things that are must haves and what we can talk to Pilar about maybe cutting back so we can have the wonderful dinner celebration. We are having a reception at home, so again we wanted to keep it simple in a sense. Thanks for any suggestions, so far everyone has been so helpful!!!
