Are you having a legal ceremony or symbolic?  If it's legal you'll have to be in Mexico for a certain amount of time before getting married, so you'd have to do the Thursday wedding.

Otherwise, it's nice to get the wedding over with so you can stop stressing and enjoy more of your time... but guests being able to take less time off of work is definitely a factor and a good reason for a Thursday wedding.

Did anyone have dinner and a buffet at the reception? How much is it to do that?

Has anyone had a photobooth at their wedding? How much was it?

DId they give a strip for the guests to keep and one for the guest book?

We are getting married at the Now Jade in October and are having a morning ceremony.  I've read these threads and haven't notice anyone else having the actual ceremony in the morning.  Any past brides done the morning ceremony?

My schedule is as follows: 7:30 a.m. Hair appointment -  10:30 a.m. Ceremony - Group Pictures - Buffet Lunch

I figured everyone would still have the majority of the afternoon free to hit the beach, pool or whatever.

Later in the evening the adults are going to meet at one of the bars for cocktails and dancing.

As a side note:  I originally booked the Your Moments package and then later tried to upgrade, but Pilar emailed me back and said they had 3 weddings that day and I might not get my choices for the ceremony location and reception location, so I decided to just keep it simple with the Your Moments package.  We have 24 people attending and doing the add-ons ala carte.

Did anyone use the photobooth? How much was it and what did it include?

Someone may or may not have already asked/answered this question, but has anyone seen or personally done a dj/dancing on the oceanfront terrace? I am definitely not paying extra $$ for a dance floor, and am guessing the flooring will be a deck, which would probably work? Also, will there be room for a dj/dancing with a long table group of appx. 30 people? If you have any input that would be great, thanks!

I think you can only do the buffet if you have 50 people or more. I've never heard of anybody that did a plated dinner and a buffet though so I'm not sure about that.

We are scheduled to do the ceremony on the beach - my dress must have heels ( high/low style) - here in lies my problem. Has anyone ever requested boards to be laid under the runner? Any other ideas, beside the pergola?

Wish I could help! This is exactly why I chose the Pergola instead. I really want to wear heels. Hopefully you'll think of something!
