Are you definitely set on heels for the ceremony? Some barefoot jewelry would look great with a high/low dress (it would really show it off) and then you can put on your heels afterwards?

I am definitely not paying extra $$ for a dance floor, and am guessing the flooring will be a deck, which would probably work? Also, will there be room for a dj/dancing with a long table group of appx. 30 people? If you have any input that would be great, thanks!

If you go back to the first page on this thread there are a few pictures of the terrace, that might give you an idea of size and set up?

Hi Kal,

In the review section I have posted where the reception was.  Hopefully you can find an answer there, pictures, or at least a person to send a private message to.

This is where we originally were supposed to have our reception and we would have had a DJ there. We only had a total of 17 people so 30 might be a tight fit but I would think it could work. I think the terrace was a little bigger in person than what pictures made it look like. The flooring is actually a cement floor (I think) not a deck.

I haven't been married yet but I am using the resort photographer. If you follow Now Jade on facebook alot of brides post the link to their photos. Now, they are not nearly as beautiful as some that I've seen from Del Sol, etc but they'll do just fine for me. It just depends on your budget. I can not afford to use an outside photographer. I'm pretty sure they use Adventure Photos.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
