    They certainly are AMAZING.

I especially love your first one...his hand on your thigh and they way you are looking at each other just warms my heart!!!

Hello Canadian Brides! I hope your planning is going well during the winter months! hehe ... I don't know how many of you are going to get married in Mexico or how many are thinking about it? However, I just got my pictures from my photo session with Del Sol in Playa del Carmen... and the pictures are amazing!! ( Atleast me and the hubby think so!) We were offered a gift for our honeymoon, which we took just after the wedding, and we went to Le Reve in Mexico. I had seen Del Sol's work and I just had to book them for a honeymoon present to us both! I'm telling you that if I had known of Del Sol before my wedding.. there is no way no how I would NOT have been married in Mexico. There work is so natural and fantastic, I can't compare them to anyone else i've seen. Here are a few pictures, hope you like them as much as I do! Good luck with your planning!!!

Oh my gosh Ladies....  I am one week away from leaving!!!! So i spent tonight and did my planning thread.. as this week will be a blur i have so much going on.. so if i didn't do it tonight i would not have done it at all! lol

    http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/78059/luvmoo-jens-jamaica-wedding-planning-thread-with-lots-of-pics#post_1731213

i am missing stuff i am sure.. but with it being just a week away i feel like a big mess of a scatterbrain right now!! hahah i wish i started planning this thread a while ago as, it would be a lot more organized and i wouldnt have forgotten anything.. BUT... whatever i missed i will add when i get back!!!!

We are using U2's Beautiful Day as a recessional song.

so i am trying to figure out music choices for the wedding ceremony.... i dont want to plan every minute of the ceremony since it just means things will go wrong.... but i want to use marry me by train for the processional but does anyone have a great song for the recessional? i would love something up beat..... but not sure what would be good.... any suggestions?

Ohhh, thats the company minimus suggests you to open an account with.

So you've never had any problems Janet?  And how about customes?

I have a solution for that...i used this company for several purchases with companies that only shipped within the US....

A question regarding the Civil and Symbolic Ceremony :)

How many of you plan (or have already) gotten legally married in Mexico?

Are any of you planning on llegally getting married in Canada and then just having a symbolic ceremony down there?

We had planed on getting married here in Canada and having the Symbolic Ceremony but my resort is still charging us $600 for a minister even though we will already legally be married. I think that is kind of a rip off and now we are considering just getting married down there since we have to pay for the minister down there.

Any input/tips would be greatly appreciated :)

          Hey Mizpriya,

I originally had my heart set on AS but the cheapest price my TA gave me was $1650 per person leaving from Toronto. When deciding to do the destination wedding thing my FI and I decided that we wouldn't make our guests pay anymore than $1500, so that is why I booked at a different resort. Have you looked at the AS thread on here? Very helpful info re: trip costs and wedding packages. The one thing that most AS brides complain about is the outside vendor fee. If you choose to outsource for a photographer or anything else they make you pay a significant fee.

Good luck in your decision making process :)

This is one of the resorts I am looking into for our wedding next year in April. I wanted to get an idea of pricing for my guests. I am hoping that it won't be more than $1500 for this resort.

Also I wanted to know thoughts on the wedding package(s) with this resort. If you could let me know, and any reviews you might have of the resort, I would love to know.

I appreciate your help in advance ladies!

Hey ladies, sorry I had never even thought of that because we have a US postal address that we use for shipping certain stuff.  I have heard of the company that they recommend on their site and I did some checking into it and it seems legit.  The only downfall maybe would be additional shipping fees.  I haven't placed an order yet because my date is still a little too far off :(

Have you ordered from minimus?  I looked into their international shipping and from what I understand, you need to open an account at a company that will give you a US address and then it will be sent from there.  They have sooo many great travel items, I really want to place an order but wondered if anyone had ordered yet?

Yea i am looking at the Gran Caribe Real Cancun. We are the same...we set a budget and told our guests it would not cost more than $1500. And the Gran Caribe seems to be under budget from what I've seen so far. Where did you decide to go?

Only in the complimentary pakg, and we do not qualify for that package.

I know you are looking at the gran Caribe, but it does seem like there are alot of hidden costs ( someone else complained about this before as well)

Hello ladies! I got married at Dreams Palm Beach in Punta Cana in Oct. 2011. My apologies for not getting on here with reviews and feedbacks---but it's been madness since my return. I'm now starting the organizing with clearing out of unused items......as I am in Calgary, I thought I'd let you all know I just posted items for sale under the Buy, Sale, Trade thread...it is titled.....Post Wedding Sale Canada....It didn't allow me to indicate you could pay in Cdn $ but I will certainly do that. For those of you planning and getting excited, it will be worth every penny and moments of stress! It is the best decision you will have made!
