We just got back from our wedding It was absolutely perfect!!!! I will post a better review when i get settled in as we just arrived home today. If you have Elizabeth as an on site coordinator she is absolutely amazing. My flowers were beautiful and the food was delcious, it exceedd are expectations for sure. We got married at the gazebo at 3pm , with a cocktail hour at 3:30 on the beach and reception on the terrace by the gazebo. We had the chicken florentine for dinner and it was amazing, the Spinach souffle as a starter was not a very big hit, and we had baked pear for dessert.

Leaving for my wedding tomorrow! Our wedding will be held on Saturday, so excited yet so nervous! I did not go all out with decorations etc, just a pretty simple wedding, hope everything goes well

We are getting the cocktail hour , for after the wedding. I was not really happy with this because most of the people will be getting their pictures taken at this time, but they still require you pay for all of the guests, whether they attend or not.

Bird Cage Veil I had been in contact with a girl locally for quite some time about getting a bird cage veil, where here I am 2 weeks before my wedding and she bailed. She is off to Mexico and cancelled our consult. Usually the less amount of days you stay, the more it is for some reason. We looked into staying an extra 3 days and it was an extra $900! Which is crazy

We are paying $1300- $1600 from Canada for 7 nights all inclusive (price doe not include insurance though)

Only in the complimentary pakg, and we do not qualify for that package. I know you are looking at the gran Caribe, but it does seem like there are alot of hidden costs ( someone else complained about this before as well)

A question regarding the Civil and Symbolic Ceremony How many of you plan (or have already) gotten legally married in Mexico? Are any of you planning on llegally getting married in Canada and then just having a symbolic ceremony down there? We had planed on getting married here in Canada and having the Symbolic Ceremony but my resort is still charging us $600 for a minister even though we will already legally be married. I think that is kind of a rip off and now we are considering just getting married down there since we have to pay for the minister down there. Any input/tips would be greatly appreciated

Is anyone doing the Civil Ceremony down there? We thought about getting legally married here first but we still need to pay $600 for a Minister down there to perform the ceremony even if we are already married, which is kind of ridiculious! We do not have enough rooms booked for the Complimentary package and that includes a minister What is everyone else planning on doing?

I bought my keycard holders off of ebay , I purchased the landyards from the same guy as well, and it was pretty affordable. I did later find some at Staples and Walmart ( but I still received a better deal on ebay) but if you do not have alot of guests going down then maybe to avoid shipping, check them out. I bought wrist straps to go on the key card holders today at Walmart I bought a 6pk for 1.98 (2 pink, 2 blue, 1 brown 1 green in the pack) which I found very affordable. I purchased my mugs from factory21.com and my shot glasses. They were very affordable as well, but they always get you with that darn border fee that I had no idea existed haha. I attached a couple of pictures! Key Card Holders- Nothing fancy , I made them on Vistaprint and put some basic spanish on the back. I didn't want to write on it " I carry your money etc. Because then everyone knows there is money in there haha Pricing out the Hangover Kits, I'm a very visual person ! Good luck!

I was out pricing things for my "Hangover kits" and had a great money saver idea! If you fill up your gas at an Superstore (Extra foods) gas bar it always prints off a coupon for money off for in store purchases. So I am making a point for my fiance and I and sister to fill up our tanks at their gas Bar and save up the coupons to use towards the hangover kits and any extra supplies like sunscreen etc that we may need. The coupons do expire so just keep an eye on them. i thought this would be a great way to save some money and thoguht I'd share
