I have it narrowed down to two dresses, but it's such a tough decision! Opinions?

Are you serious?  Same two dresses?  I'll go stalk you now to see if you ever posted pics :)  Don't you just LOVE Wtoo dresses?  They're so well made, unique and flattering.  When I started out I was all like "I wanna be a Maggie bride!" and now it's the furthest thing from my mind.  I'm having such a tough time deciding, I love them both so much!  Most people pick the Dulconee, but I love the Desdemona just as much, I almost want to pick it just so I can stick up for the underdog :)

I know! I am getting married in May so I will be sure to post a couple pics of me in the dress. I had my final fitting 2 weeks ago and I can't wait to wear it. I saw both dresses when WTOO was having a trunk shot at the Macy's in Mpls. They have so many nice dresses! I'm sure you will look amazing in either dress, they are both gorgeous!

Thanks for the opinions!  I still haven't totally made up my mind.  Everyone seems to love #2, but I'm just wondering how it will stand up to time.  I feel like the first one is also very pretty, and will age better.  I don't care too much if it starts to look out-dated, but I don't want it to look really bad in a few decades. Another issue I have with the second one is that it's a lot more figure-hugging, and it makes me feel a lot more self-conscious about my little stomach.  In the first one, I can totally relax :)  Thoughts?

I liked number one the best.. most people on here liked number two. You said number one was your first love, and it seems that you are more comfortable in number one. I love it, but you have to go with your gut feeling, how you feel inside about it, because its your special day! I think you are leaning towards number one though from your last post and a post from a few days ago!

I had two dresses that I had a very hard time deciding between too, just like you. One that I had picked out from the first time I tried on dresses, and the other that I chose from an appointment a few months later. I went back to the salon and tried them both on a few times, I looked at the pics of them every day for months. I finally decided to go with my first choice. It was just more "me".

Well, since its clear you love both dresses, you need to start thinking more about which one will fit your theme/wedding style more.  They are two different types of styles, so instead of beating yourself up about which dress you love more, start thinking about which one would fit in with the flowers you like, the dresses you want your bridesmaids to wear, what your groom is wearing, your ceremony and reception decor, etc... stuff like that... I love both of your dresses as well, but for me I would pick dress #2, BUT that is only because it fits what I'm going for.  I'm getting married in mexico and my theme is very latin oriented with mariachi band and all, so a mermaid flamenco style dress like this would 'fit' my wedding style.  However, if I decided to go with a more modern yet classy theme, then I would have chosen dress #1, you see what I'm saying?

I really hope this helps.  I had the same problem, but with more dresses LOL!  Alot of dresses are going to look beautiful on you, but since you have to make a decision you have to start narrowing them down some how and for me, this was the only way.

Good luck and I'll know you'll love which ever dress you get and will look stunning!! Congrats, if I don't run across you again on the forum before you get married!!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
