Hey WPGBride! If you are looking for something that you will see weight loss off of eating healthier alone, then you should totally try Weight Watchers. While, of course, they do encourage exercising they also understand that not everyone has the same schedule and that life is busy. I Started WW in October 2011 and as of yesterday (weigh-in day) I am down 25.4 and I just keep losing! It's seriously awesome. As someone who has struggled to lose weight for several years with no lasting success, I have found WW to be EASY.

It's not too expensive and you get a lot of freedom to make your own choices. Overall you just learn to eat healthier based on their guidelines, and it really works and teaches you how to live healthier.

If you have any questions about it, I would love to answer them. Hope this helps! :)

I work full time and am a full time student so I'm banking on sheer healthy eating to help me lose weight. I'm finding it difficult to work in any exercise during my days although I do have a Shapes membership (total rip off by the way). So does anyone have any suggestions? Especially for that armpit fat area and thigh/butt area!

Enerlise, how is it going? Great job on getting back on that treadmill! Don't forget the first day back is ALWAYS the hardest. So anytime you finish an exercise you have never done or haven't done in a while, remind yourself, that was the hardest workout you will have and it will only get better from here.
Are you still doing WW? If you haven't gone to meeting this week, it is such a good topic, Why Tracking Works. I'm 4 1/2 months in to WW and after losing my initial 20 ish pounds, I started slacking. I have the gym thing under-control, as I am going about 5-6 days a week, but my eating habits have gotten a little worse. I am now trying to re-motivate myself as I still want to lose about 18 more pounds before our November 2012 wedding. (Totally do-able I just need to keep it off!)

So, let me know how you are doing! I am always here if you need encouragement, motivation, or someone to say bravo for your excellent workouts! Get it, girl! Don't forget, all the sweat, pain, and sore muscles will be so worth it on the big day :)

I hope to lose another 50lbs by the wedding! I need help and motivation ladies! I went to the gym today - first day back and did 45 mins on the treadmill. fast walk and some jogging. I hope to keep it up.

I want to start trying dresses on soon, but want to lose some more weight first....

My sister is doing the P.I.N.K method and it has worked out great for her! She has lost 25 lbs in about three months. I have to agree with the rest of the brides though, you just have to pick a weight loss program, commit to it and you'll get the results you want.

I have me so unmotivated lately when it comes to losing weight...and have actually packed on pounds instead! eek.gif I see that a lot of girls on here are doing P90X which I heard is great if you stick to it but the videos are kind of expensive. I was wondering if anyone has tried the P.I.N.K. Method that was featured on Doctor Phil.  It's only 65 bucks and I saw some people post there results on you tube and it seems like it works, but I'm still skeptical. I have 258 days until my wedding to lose 55lbs so I know I definitely need to get a move on it.

That's good to hear. I'm looking for something I can stick to but can do at home that isn't too expensive. I definitely have to work on getting mentally into it. I start a bootcamp this weekend so I think that will put me back on track. Thanks for sharing Lala.

Hmm I'll have to look into it. I just had the worst weekend ever with corrupting my diet. Started off with all you can eat sushi (which I definatly took advantage of the 'all you can eat') Then went out to a party and drank all night and finished it off with 2 cheeseburgers and fries. Then the next morning working off my hangover I had myself a bag of sweet chili and sour cream chips (mmmmmm) and an apple fritter and boston cream donut. It was such a bad weekend I'm feeling really guilty and now Vday is in a couple days and we usually celebrate with a pasta dinner :(. Its the alcohol I think that made my weekend horrible. How can you have a fun night out without drinking !

I am so thankful to have found that thread, it's not easy to motivate yourself but when there is others and they are going through the same stuff that you are .. it helps. I started January 2011 .. with a goal to get fit and lose weight and I did just that. I have never in my life been this fit .. EVER .. I have been skinnier but not in shape.. this makes a huge difference! I didn't starve myself and I followed my exercise program to a tee ... working out 3 to 4 days a week .. sometimes more and sometimes less .. and I reached my goal 2 months before the wedding. Good luck in achieving your goals and here a before and after picture that I also posted on the 2011 thread.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
