Recommended Posts

I replied to you in the 2013 thread- but I paid $232 for the ipod hook up and 1 speaker for 4 hours- but that was for 2012 so their prices may have went up!

Hey ladies! Does anyone have a contact for someone at the Spa? We leave for vacation at Moon Palace exactly a week from todaycheesy.gif I was hoping to make some massage appointments before we go, because I hear they fill up. I'm not sure if they only allow you to reserve in advance if you are going for a wedding or not??

Hello ladies! I am looking to book Moon Palace for my wedding. I have a few/loads of questions that I hope you can help me with!! I have emailed moon palace however I have been waiting for what feels like an eternity on a reply! I would be looking to book either the exotic peacock package or the pure package. I notice that this is for 30 guests only. Can anyone tell me the price per person if there are more than 30 guests? I will be travelling from Scotland and booking my hotel though a travel agents therefore a group contact will be honoured. As there will be more than 75 room nights booked we would be honoured 7 complimentary nights, unlimited private functions and room upgrade for bride and groom. I think I would be looking to have my civil ceremony in the tucan gazebo. Hold my cocktail hour on the tucan terrace. Have dinner in the el caribeno restaurant and my reception on the Caribbean terrace (going by pictures from this website I have picked these locations, however if anyone has any better locations I'm opened to ideas!) Can anyone confirm when holding civil ceremony and using either exotic package or pure package is there a charge for more than 30 guests? If so, what is the charge per person? Can anyone confirm if when holding a cocktail hour is food and also a bar provided for the guests? Would this be free of charge because of the unlimited private functions? Also to have dinner in el caribeno restaurant would this be the where the themed reception decor tables would be used? What are the dinner options that are included for 30 guests in the exotic peacock package or pure package? Is this a sit down meal or is this a buffet? What would be the extra charge per person for sit down meal and/or buffet meal if there are over 30 guests? Are all drinks free of charge for guests with the use of their all inclusive bands? To hold a reception at the caribbean terrace (somewhere semi private) to play our own music and dance for a few hours (before heading over to the nightclub) and also for guests to a use a bar free of charge with their all inclusive bands. Would this be where the reception decor tables would be used? If there are more than 30 guests what would the price per person be? I hope someone who has already gone through what I am trying to organise can help! Or someone who has actually received a reply from moon palace!! Thank you!!!! Nicole Sent from my iPad

Just been looking through other forums, and Think i might have answered my own questions! Would the cocktail hour, sit down plated meal in a private area and reception all be free of charge for over 30 guests because I would be honoured unlimited private functions? All I would therefore need to pay for is extra seats at the ceremony?Ddoes anyone know how much this would be? Also need to pay for an extra table at $300? Sorry for being a pest!! Thanks, Nicole

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
