Then I got upset because there was problems with seating and I just wanted everything be perfect. I started crying. I tried not to but I was frazzled. It was so cute because all the Moms (my mom, my mother in law, my stepmother in law, and my grandmother in law) just started hugging me and reassuring me that everything was lovely. Then I had a margarita and all was right with the world again.

All in all we had a great time. The food was incredible. I actually got to eat my wedding cake. My Father in Law gave us such a sweet toast. I think everyone enjoyed the low key nature of our shin dig. Everyone loved the favors. I am so glad We asked everyone to write us a message or wedding advice for our scrap book. The messages and advice were so touching and sweet. My friend Erica took over picture duties (Thank God) so when she sends them to me, I'll post them.
Awe, you are so cute! smile03.gif I'm so glad to hear that everything worked out and all the "Moms" came to your aid in full force! haha

Of course, being a BDW member, I can't wait to see the PICS! YEAH!!!

I'm glad that there was a margarita there to get the party started! I would cry too. I hate when I work so hard at something and not everything goes perfect... of course, I'm positive that you were the ONLY one that thought anything of it!

I'm glad it went so well after the stress.

Karen-

Ha! That's EXACTLY (pretty much) how our AHR went.

People started getting there while I was still setting up (and grungy) so I had to run to the B&B we were staying at to change.

Lo and behold, the dress I had brought (the one I wore at the reception at Dreams) had been dry cleaned, and I didn't check it before I packed it for the AHR. So, guess what. The drycleaners had completely ruined it! All the little rhinestones all over the dress were gone, leaving little strings everywhere. I flipped the F out. Anyway, long story short, I clipped the strings and made do. Of course, on the way back to the site, while I was trying to fix my makeup, a big blob landed on my (already ruined) dress. Sometimes you just gotta laugh.

And of course, the margaritas didn't hurt, either. And then my best friend and I did the Thriller dance for everyone as a surprise (long planned before the dang Phillipinos stole our thunder) and it was all good.

Anyway, aren't you so glad it's all completely over and you can enjoy Jay and life together!?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
