I just found one online for those girls that need one and it's $8:

In fact by doing this we also brought it to the stewardess' attention and later they moved us to first class... I swear I'm carrying a large white garment bag whenever I travel - even if it's empty! wink.gif

I am flying American Airlines to Jamaica!  I had not even thought about how to bring my dress until I recently started shopping for a second dress!  How far ahead did you call, and was there an additional carry on fee?

Did everyone use their dress as their one carry-on bag? Or did the airlines allow you to bring it in addition to your carry-on? We will be scuba diving the week of our wedding so it is a must that we hand carry our regulators on the plane. We are also flying Thanksgiving week, so I am sure the planes will be full.

We're flying American too. I was originally going to splurge on first class when booking our tickets, but decided to wait and see if I can get an upgrade just before. Maybe now I'll try the dress method and hope our flight isn't full and the flight attendants are nice!

We full Frontier Airlines and my dresses were my carry-on.  They just put it in an overhead compartment and I didn't have any issues.  My dress wasn't huge or poofy or anything though so it fit in an overhead compartment.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
