Hi Girls,

Hope your all well.   Iâ€ve been having a nightmare with my TA.  We paid in full last week & tried to book our seats.  For some reason, which I still cant get to the bottom of, thereâ€s a problem.  Weâ€re down as having booked World Traveller Plus & having upgraded, but we havenâ€t.  Weâ€re now having problems getting the ‘upgrade†taken off.  BA & the TA promised us all would be resolved today, but nope.  Weâ€re now waiting for them to call us tomorrow.  Itâ€s not a huge problem as we donâ€t fly til August 1st but Iâ€m terrified of flying & want to be sure our seats are over the wing.  Apparently you donâ€t feel any turbulence as much there.  Not sure how true this is mind.   Anyway moan over.

@Nicy, Thanks for the add on FB.  Looks like you had a great time on both your hen nights.

@Michelle – I know where youâ€re coming from about the Royal Wedding.  Iâ€m only interested in her dress too.  LOL.   Sounds like youâ€re going to have a great night on Saturday.  Looking forward to seeing the pics.

@Ashley – Welcome back.  Iâ€ve also been trying to lose a little weight but itâ€s not going so well.  As soon as I tell myself to cut down the rubbish Iâ€m suddenly fantasing about battered sausage & chips.  LOL.   Iâ€d love to say that the dresses & bags are mine, theyâ€re stunning arenâ€t they,  but they belong to Herbie76. We only have 6 people (including us) so there are no bridesmaids much to the dismay of my SIL.  She really wanted her 3 yr old twin boys to be paige boys & 6 year old daughter to be bridesmaid.  I think sheâ€s over it now, but still tries to get the odd dig in.

@Waybuloo – The suprise hen party sounds fantastic.  Loving the Mexican theme

@Lyndsey – Not sure about the engagement ring thing. I was in two minds as to what to do as well.   Iâ€ve known people wear their E ring on the other hand & add it their wedding finger after the ceremony & others whoâ€ve worn it as normal.   That doesnâ€t really help you does it?  LOL.

@Char79UK  - Thanks for the welcome.  Iâ€ve been loitering around for a little while. Youâ€re so right, this site has so much advice & information.  Not to mention the fact that you girls are always there for each other.

Alex xx

Nicy sorry to hear the sad news. x

Well i have braved the wedding dress shops and tried about 25 on. (Im not a big shopper!)

Now i am in a dilemma.

1 dress i fell in love with at the time. It was really different. And in the sale till saturday bargain. I was aloud to take a photo but i am worried about looking a bit frumpy!

But there is another that i can't stop thinking about. Totally different in style. But more me!

Decisions Decisions!!!!!!

Hi Kerry,

I know exactly what you're going through.  I've bought 3 dresses now.  The first was a copy one I saw on Ebay.  Needless to say, when it arrived it wasnt up the the quality I'd expected.  The second was a destination wedding dress (below).   but for some reason I just didnt feel very 'bridal' in it.  I ummed & ahhed for ages & went to try on some others & found my ideal one.   It's everything I thought I didn't want, but when I tried it on I fell in love with it.   Because I'd already bought 2 I walked away but couldn't get it out of my head so ended up going back & buying it.

This is the one I've decided to go with. 020.JPG

If you cant stop thinking about it, maybe it's the one for you.    xx

Both dresses are beautiful :-) I love the back on the first one but definatly think the one you have gone with is more bridal.... Lovely details on the from, and that sunshine will make it sparkle!!! Gorgeous x

Kerry, I agree with marley,  if its the one you cant stop thinking of then yes, maybe it IS the one :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
