Well in the shop Nicy it was the straight skirt with little bit of ruffle but when I got home & looked online I realised they had a different skirt so now want to find a retailer who's got it in stock to try......my mum prefers the straight skirt too but I just want to try the other one to eliminate I think!! or it could be I just love trying on dresses....lol  I like it as well because the shoulder strap is detachable so can change it a bit between day & night.

I know what you mean, the girls at work think im mad, I say "my friend says this and another friend says that" :-)

But i must say its lovely that we can talk that way about each other as we are planning the biggest day of our lives with each other so virtual or not i definatly class you all as my friends :-)

Haha, elimination sounds good but i definatly thinks its more to do with the fact you like trying dresses (especially wedding dresses) :-)

Roo, poor you. What a bag of shite so close to your wedding. I don´t know how you keep your temper, I´d have told the little f*cker not to bother coming. (but as you may have guessed, there is a fault with the tact/diplomacy valve in my brain)

I´m with you, I love going to work just to get a break from the kids.

Good luck getting everthing sorted, get yourself pissed-up after work so the main thing you´ve got to worry about is your hangover tomorrow.

Big virtual hug coming to you from Spain.

xx

OOH meant to say, I got an urgent letter from the post office in Madrid today, telling me a parcel has arrived for me from the States, it´s my boarding pass invitations. I got all excited until I actually read the letter which told me that because the USA is not in the EU, i´ll have to pay importation tax before I can get them, so would i like to go to Madrid to pay this? Um.... NO! Madrid is about a 5 hour drive away.

Nob-jockeys.

Oh No!!! This is what happened to one of my mates she got her flowergirl dresses on ebay for about £15 each from the US and it ended up costing her £70 in duty!!!   Its the senders fault though not yours - I deal with this sort of thing at work - hope you get them but I would say big fat chance hope they didnt cost you too much!

I am currently starving and am sitting here trying not to gnaw my leg off - back on the healthy eating plan today - went for a 20 min run and nearly died.  I looked at my dress at the weekend and noticed how narrow the waist is and then looked at my ever expanding waist......:-(((((

I feel your pain josie, i´m taking myself off to bed to try and ignore the hunger pangs. tried my wedding dress on last week and i can just about do it up, but can´t breathe. big disadvantage. it´s highly fitted around the bust and waist and nicely accentuates my pot belly. i joined weight watchers this sat to bully myself into losing this extra stone that i seem to have accumulated somehow.

nothing is simple in this country, but i have a friend here who lived in cuba then barcelona so is superfluent, and i´m hoping she will sort this out for me. fingers crossed.

lyndsey, please excuse my foul mouth! it comes from working in a very rough bar, i´m actually a very nice girl!!!!

Thanks girlies i went to work and ranted all over again lol

I sent Paul a text which took a  while to be replied tooo but it went along the lines of why do we all suffer when your not well?

Anyway he came into the pub which is about half an hours drive away from home.I had my back to him and i heard hello moody knickers. The reply he got was hello arsehole lol.He asked for a drink and i said are you drinking it or wearing it lol and i felt better lol.I told him i needed a chat because i was so upset and he was all ears which is not usual lol.

Basically the response i got was thats why i  wanted to go away just the two of us i knew it would be like this.

Ignore everyone and every thing is almost done now so dont stress.

He told the ex that Chloe had nits and she was like oh not again but when i said to chloe as i was spending my split from work curling her hair youve got nits both her and amy went yer.So do they not tell there mother cos she wont do anything or wot!!!!!!!!!!

Ive told Paul im staying away from his mum and dad who really are very sweet but fuckin annoying just tilll we go away just cos i cant handle it.It took us ten mins last week to explain you need to put your tablets into a plastic bag at the airport.Well Pauls just informed me theyve been on about it AGAIN tonight.Oh and if i hear how useless all the foreign exchange people are one more time im gunna grab all his notes set  them on fire and burn all his nasal hair with them lol

On a good note arsehole child has gone back home his girlfriends dad has offered him two weeks work yeee haaa i dont need to look at his spotty face for the next two weeks.Oh and Paul told him about the maintanace that shes been looking for two days after her moved down he said im gunna pay wot she paid me for you for the last five years yep youve got it nuffink.

Rant over ive had a giggle at work no alcholol was consumed earnt £11 in tips and cleared the air.

I managed to get the bits i wanted for the photo booth table a huge pair of starshape sun glasses three different moustches one is like johnny depp ,ones a big fat grey one and theother  one  curls at the ends.I found two masks like cat? with glitter and i got a clowns hat.In total theres three pairs of sunglasses and oh a pink tiara  and the feather boa yep i think thats it.If i find a blow up guitar theyll be that aswell.

As far as the tickets are concerned the girl rang Thomsons they are issuing new tickets but if they havnt arrived we can go with the tickets that are there.Oh and theres no charge.UM thanks loveee your faux pas.But after the weekend ive had i choose to ignore her i coudlnt trust myself to not blow a gasket.

Pauls just woken up its 1.20 in the morning jabbering cor innit bright in here WTF go back to sleep you nutter oh hang on now hes saying it wasnt as bright as this a min ago NO you had your eyes closed you nutter go back to sleep.

I now think he realizes i wasnt being a moody cow bag because of my toe lol

Oh and to top off a really shit day Paul sold a car today hed done up (hes a mechanic) and we now have £1000 to add to the wedding pot.

Lifes not so bad after all

Thankyou girlies but i would lovvee to set fire to Mr Newnhams nasal hair lol xxxxxx

Jo i had the same thing with our tote bags. I ended up paying £60 for the shipping and vat! Not impressed. But it's done now. If i'd have known when i ordered them i would have got the delivered to my sisters friend in Boston and got sis to collect them in Feb when she does her annual USA trip. Oh well lesson learnt for me.....

roo glad you are feeling better, well apart from the toe! lol... i'm glad horror child has sodded off and you dont have to see him. You dont need the stress ontop of your wedding. The mother obviously neglects those kids what an idiot. those poor girls having nits! Eww and sending them to you to deal with. Cow. At least Paul has piped up and said something about the situation!

I also agree to give the inlaws a wide birth. I'm doing that with my MIL from hell and it's been lovely! I havent seen her for two weeks now...awww bliss... fingers x'd it'll be 2 months before i see her again! lol.....

£1000 in the pot!!!!  lovely!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
