We wanted to do that but when will you take pictures together? I don't want to make the guests wait for us too long while we take pictures all over the place? How are you getting around that?

we'll be staying in the same room the night before. but once the preparations begin, i'm not planning on letting him see me until i'm totally ready. not sure yet if we'll wait until i'm walking down the aisle or not... i'd kinda like that, but logistics will, unfortunately, have to rule.

We will be staying in separate rooms, but thats not my doing. I was actually ok with staying in the same room, my only concern was that he did not see me all made up in my wedding dress until I walk down the aisle. But, my fiance actually wanted to keep tradition so, more than likely my MOH will be staying with me in our suite and the FI will be staying with MOH's husband in her room. And hopefully, we wont run into each other before the wedding!!!

Love it! We also have two kids, and while i definitely want to spend the night with him before we get married, I´m more than happy for him to take the kids off for some quality time so i can get ready!

I sleep like ca-ca without my FI next to me. Even when he goes on hunting trips at home, I basically don't sleep while he's gone. I can't imagine spending a sleepless night before the biggest day of my life :) So he and I will snuggle like usual, and I'll kick him out come morning.

My FI and I will be staying the same room the night before. I hate it when he goes on trips and I am alone so I don’t want that feeling the night before my wedding. We will be staying together that night, then going to breakfast and separating after we eat till the wedding at 5:30.

You need to do whatever you and your FI want to do and don’t worry about what others think you should do.

The night before my wedding we go so drunk and he would not walk me to anyone's room, so we stayed the night together, the day of we woke up had breakfast and lunch and hung out before it was time to get dressed just us two!!!!, then we got dressed in different rooms.. It was the best decision we could have made,

I spent the night before with my MOH. We were at a very small hotel, so we just had friend make sure we were not in the same place at the same time. It wasn't really that big of a deal to me, but it was nice to see him for the first time that day down on the sand waiting for me.

I completely want us to sleep separately!! we bought a house like 2yrs ago, so I totally want the semi-separation-anxiety bit when he sees me. I feel it may add a bit more to the whole 'wedding' theme. I mean come on, we're all doing a 'destination wedding', so not a typical wedding most would expect.........but, I cannot WAIT to see his face when I walk down the isle, and for him to see me for the first time in like...30hrshuh.gif? when he's used to seeing me EVERY am..... seems silly, but I want it so much!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
