TTD for $250?

Recommended Posts

Hey I recently got married in St Thomas and we are honeymooning in Negril the end of July and we are looking to do a TTD/couples BD session (had no time for the wedding bc we cruised to the island) and a kind of. I'm going to contact both Diane Campbell and Merrick Cousley and anyone else I can find. Wish me luck bc I'm not interested in paying more than $500. Wish me luck.

bump.gif Okay so I would like to bump this topic! I had contacted Merrick Cousley as well and his prices and packages are unbeatable and this makes me a little scared! The pictures on his site look good but I am so skeptical because I just want to make sure he is legit. I cannot find any reviews on him...if anyone has utilized him for their wedding,TTD or engagement photos please let me know your thoughts!!

When I contacted him for my wedding next year, he advised that he is based in Kingston so he has to charge for travel and accommodation ($200) outside of Kingston. So in total I will be paying $300+$200 for the TTD, which I think is still a really good deal. He also provided me with a couple reference to contact. Will let you know how that goes.

hey everyone!

just wanted to let you know that Merrick Cousley was one of my contenders as well because his prices were reasonable.  but i also found this guy, Chris Clare.  his prices were even better and i liked the pictures i saw on his website!   long story, i ended up going with someone else who is flying in from the states - she gave me a good deal since she was already in Jamaica for someone else's wedding the same week as mine!

here is Chris Clare's website:

Chris told me that he would do the TTD for free and was charging less than Merrick Cousley for transportation.

I am planning on using him for my wedding in Runaway Bay Jamaica in August. Did you have any luck getting in contact with any of his references?

Thank you so much. I hope you have a great wedding day when it arrives. I am going with Merrick too. I also added him on facebook, he has more wedding pictures that he took on there too. They look wonderful

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
