Tris that is a productive weekend for sure! I had one too! I went shopping with my FSIL and future niece and got her her flower girl dress and some cute flip flops and my future nephew his shirt. Forgot to take pics though. I finished laminating my bookmarks. FI and I finished cutting all of the fans for our program fan and completed 2 of 30 fans we have to do. I need to rethink the jewelry i bought because it is too modern for my original dress so that will be next weekends task.

Still have to.

Print welcome letter.

Print caramilk bar labels and buy chocolate bars

Finish fans

Print and cut welcome tags

Find and print a wedding timeline (having a hard time finding a template for this if any of you have one and would like to share i would appreciate it)

Create and print take one sign for cake

Put logo stickers on the cake boxes

Put OOT bags together when they arrive.

Finish playlist

Buy FI gift

Buy Fathers gift

Holy smokes that sounds like alot with only two weekends left before I leave. I am really starting to get excited and nervous at the same time. EEEEkkk!

Nice! We have no guests coming but we are going with his brother and his fiance who are getting married there as well. I actually found out the resort chaged their name when I went online to show someone the room type we were staying in and couldn't find the resort. Minor panic moment!! Good idea to head to a different resort for the honeymoon. That was one of the reasons we decided to go pretty much alone. I just don't know how I feel about "running into" our moms, sisters, etc etc my whole honeymoon. :-) We have been together for a long time and lived together almost the whole time so we just wanted something low key!

That's really cute that you have another couple to go with (and are both getting married). I'm totally with you about the the less stress of going alone! I'm just super close with my mom, grandparents & sister and I couldn't get married without them! We're staying an extra week (at Sandals) for our honeymoon, so the week at Gran Bahia is going to be spent with friends and family ;)

OH, and ladies!! I found out what I'm getting as a wedding present!!! A puppy!!! Now let's see how it gets along with our 3 cats, haha!

Hey ladies!

This will be my last post as a single woman!!!! We have to be at the airport at 6am tomorrow to head to Mexico! I cannot even believe its time alread... ive spent the last 4 days packing, cleaning, running around like a mad woman, and had my bachelorette party last night! Packing was such a pain in the butt and im praying i didnt forget anything! I am happy to say that all the wedding stuff fit in one suitcase and weights less than 50 lbs, woohoo! Sad news I have lost my wedding earrings sometime over the past 6 months, ive looked everywhere for them and they are nowhere to be found :( Another sad note i ruined my iphone at my bachelorette party last night, i had a couple jello shots in my clutch with my phone and they melted and seeped into my phone so my whole screen is pink and it is wigging out so no phone while im in mexico is stressing me out a bit but i am just so excited to finally get out of town and get some sun, sand & relaxation!

I hope you all have the most amazing weddings and cant wait to hear all about them when i get back! Talk to you ladies on the 14th probably!

Heres a couple pics from last night :)

I can't believe how fast the time has been flying by! holy!!!  I am so glad I took today and tomorrow off of work, because I have no idea how I'd get ready if I had to go in.  I'm up early because FI still has to work (and let's face it, I've been too excited to sleep the last 2 nights).

Anyway - we leave tomorrow!!!!! ah!!! (well leave for the air port)  Our plan is to leave around 5 tomorrow (or earlier depending when FI can get home) as the airport is an hour away.  Then we're going to eat an early supper and straight to bed in hopes we can get at least a few hours of sleep!!!  we have to be at the airport just after 3AM wednesday!! yikes!

I've kinda been running around like a mad woman getting the house ready and such since we have our neighbour coming in to feed the cats while we're away.  So this morning my mom requested that I go to yoga with her.  Here's hoping that helps to relax and mellow me out! ;)  After yoga we have plans for lunch and then one last trip to the mall (i want to grab another tank and a casual skirt... along with some US $$$)... and then PACK!

Oh!!! and look what my mom finished yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not going to lie ... I started making this dress but was totally stressing out, so my AMAZING mom took over!  She did such a good job!!!!  This dress made ENTIRELY of the fabric that was removed from the train on my gown!!  cheer2.gif  I plan on wearing this for sure at our AHR.  As for in Jamaica, I thought of wearing it for our Friday night dinner (night before wedding), but part of me is thinking I might want to save it for the wedding day.  Looking at the weather, it's HOT HOT HOT there and by the time we head to the disco on the wedding night, I might want something lighter and cooler on.  I'm SO happy with how it turned out!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
